Our stay at Spring Creek was absolutely wonderful. The cabin and surroundings are exquisite. The owners put a great deal of care into ensuring great care and excellent craftsmanship went into every detail. As hikers who value solitude, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a quick getaway. We spent hours on the back porch listening to birds, watching fireflies, and stargazing. And the outdoor shower with its view was also a real highlight! As for the trails, they are REAL hikes that are well-built and thoughtfully laid out. We loved being able to step outside and get in a decent walk or hike without ever getting in the car. We brought our toddler, and it was such a gift to immerse her in nature so effortlessly. She especially loved the tree net and creek boardwalk. The hosts were thoughtful, responsive, and clearly invested in their guests’ experience. We truly hope to return in another season. This place truly felt like a retreat; I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This property is just as it is advertised. There are floor to ceiling windows that capture a stunning view of the mountains or you can sit outside to enjoy them! The house is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there are air conditioning units in each bedroom that can be set separately. The TV can easily hook up to all the major streaming services and the hosts leave an informative instruction book for guests which is really helpful with great recommendations. We lived our time here and would come back again. Our AWD Honda did well getting up the steep drive.

We had an incredible stay at Lindsay's place! The house was in such a beautiful location and was a lovely space for two. We loved coming back from a day out to have dinner on the porch and look at the surrounding trees and nearby river. Lindsay was also a great host and very responsive. There were so many thoughtful touches in the space, such as extra toiletries and a basket of snacks for hiking. During our stay there were some landscaping crews who were doing hurricane restoration in the area, but we only noticed extra noise when outside during the day - indoors and in the evening were very peaceful. Fairview is a lovely town and the house is not far from Asheville, both of which have great food and other activities. However, many of the trails around Lake Lure and Black Mountain are still closed due to damage from Hurricane Helene, so we drove about an hour to Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway to hike.

Jordan went above and beyond to make our 3-night anniversary stay unforgettable. Before we arrived, he helped set up a surprise for my wife with rose petals leading to the bed, a heart of petals on the bed, a bouquet of 21 roses (one for each year of marriage), and a box of chocolates—absolutely perfect! The dome was even better in person than in the photos—clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed: microwave, coffee maker, hot plate, pots, dishes, and silverware. Even cleaning supplies were included! The view was breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape. The price was fantastic for everything included. We’re so grateful for Jordan’s hospitality and attention to detail. This trip wouldn’t have been the same without it!
