It’s hard to find enough superlatives to describe our stay at Fiona’s. The apartment itself was superb with everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Fiona and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for us as it was so incredibly close to the yacht club where we were attending a junior regatta. Despite being attached to the owners home, the apartment is very private and quiet. If we ever need to stay in Howick again there’s no question we would love to stay at Fiona’s again.

The retreat is set in an idyllic location, surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature. Its Mexican-inspired architecture is a feast for the eyes—think hand-painted tiles, rich wooden beams, and terracotta roofs. The lush gardens that surround the property feature native plants and flowers, providing an authentic Mexican aesthetic that truly transports you to another world. The retreat feels like a private sanctuary, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the retreat's crown jewels is its stunning swimming pool, which is perfectly framed by the surrounding landscape. The pool’s waterfall is beautiful, the water is crystal-clear, making it a great place to take a dip or lounge under the sun. For an extra touch of luxury, there is also a heated spa pool that offers complete tranquility. The spa pool is perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. A true gem that blends luxury, culture, and relaxation effortlessly.

I appreciated Brenda's flexible check in & her sending a photo of the garage & driveway as there are lots of parked cars on a narrowish road blocking the view until you are right there. The location was very handy for our evening event & handy to the Orekei Basin & East Coast Bays walking & biking trails. Brenda is friendly, relaxed & onto it, communication-wise. If you have a low to the road front bumper like on my old Toyota Corolla, you might want to park on the street, as there is footpath berm when you come out of the driveway. I enjoyed meeting Max the dog! Excellent affordable accommodation.

Ute's studio is a well appointed, clean and quiet. , We found very it peaceful with view of the harbour, and watching the bird life. The central location is easy to find. From here it is easy to get onto the motorways and explore Auckland.

This is a wonderful little place to stay! Great location in Auckland. Great host. Fully equipped with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. Fantastic cafes, bars and supermarkets all within walking distance. We had two stays here for a total of about two weeks and it was absolutely perfect. We would love to come back. Thank you Megan

This was an awesome little unit to stay in. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Grey Lynn. Communication with Rachel was easy and she was quick to respond. This is definitely a place we will use again.

This was the fourth time that my daughter and I have stayed at Jacqueline's place. We enjoy staying at her place for several reasons: it is a very aesthetically pleasing unit in a very peaceful location. Jacqueline and Aliva are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants, grocery and all other types of stores are easily reachable.

The ideal studio for us, waking up to bird song, in walking distance of Grey Lynn village and easy access to the city.

Spent 4 days in this wonderful, private studio surrounded by beautiful plants and gardens. Loved the location which was so close to the Ponsonby Rd and all the cafes and restaurants. Bus stop for the city across the road. 10 minutes walk to beautiful Grey Lynn Park. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve slept in while travelling . The studio had everything you needed and more. Amazing attention to detail. Fantastic hosts and always responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

The Little Bush House was my 10-year-old son’s and my first stay upon arrival to NZ. It was the perfect place to recover from a long flight. A beautiful and comfortable space with stunning views through wall to ceiling windows was ideal for hunkering down through several days of rain. The gardens were fantastic for popping outside in between showers. Great proximity to the Titirangi town center, beautiful coastline, the Waitakere Range, and just a short hop from Auckland. Sarah and Guy are warm, lovely, generous people who put their hearts into hosting. I hope to return and highly recommend!

Wonderful place! My partner and I felt right at home the moment we stepped in. Has everything you need. Titirangi is lovely spot too. And as described in the listing, it's a 30min drive in a directions to the airport, CBD, and the west coast beaches which we absolutely loved. Pete is super friendly and responsive too! Would 100% recommend this place.

I had an amazing stay at Sue’s place! The location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk to the beach in a peaceful neighbourhood. The studio was also super quiet, clean, and private, and had everything I needed (the kitchen was well equipped too)! Sue was really nice and friendly – always quick to reply and checked in from time to time to see if I needed anything. I had such a great two weeks here and would absolutely stay again next time I’m in Auckland. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Jane’s lovely studio. It was beautifully furnished, clean and very well kitted out. The location was perfect for exploring Auckland - easy access to Ponsonby Road, close enough to the CBD but also space on the street for us to park our car (which Jane kindly sorted) for trips further afield. Jane was also very friendly, responsive and thoughtful. We particularly appreciated the folder of great restaurant recommendations, the fresh coffee and milk waiting for us on arrival and Jane’s kind offer to help find a home for some kitchen staples we had left over (as we were at the end of a long trip in New Zealand) so that they didn’t go to waste! We would thoroughly recommend here as a place to stay if visiting Auckland 😊
