Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Sailor Home verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber vollkommen ausreichend – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer. Der Ausblick war atemberaubend, und die Ruhe vor Ort hat für perfekte Erholung gesorgt. Wer keinen Luxus erwartet, sondern Natur und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich magischer Ort. Eine so wunderschöne Insel für sich zu haben ist wirklich einmalig!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Paleokastro! It’s such a peaceful and authentic place — waking up to birdsong and hearing nightingales at night was pure magic. Debby, the owner, is very very kind and even brought us some delicious local treats. Her daughter Asthasia welcomed us warmly, gave us a lovely tour, and shared great tips for local beaches, supermarkets, and tavernas. They really made us feel at home. The house is simple but very tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and we especially enjoyed the private barbecue area — perfect for relaxed evenings outside. The only very small thing we noticed was that it would be nice if the showerhead could hang, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. We left feeling completely relaxed and full of good memories. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Sessiz, sakin, huzur dolu bir yer. Ormanın içinde tertemiz bir havaya sahip. Bahçesinde böğürtlenler var ve çok lezzetlidir. Ev konumu ve rahatlığı itibariyle harikaydı. Ama asıl güzel olan Christos, eşi Anna ve Güzel Fotomodel. Misafirperverlikleri için minnettarız.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Fofi’s Airbnb during my time in Greece, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hosting experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, Fofi was warm, welcoming, and attentive — always ready to help with recommendations, local tips, and making sure I felt comfortable. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. What truly sets Fofi apart is her genuine care for her guests. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and she was always just a message away if I needed anything. Thanks to her, my stay in Greece was smooth, stress-free, and full of wonderful memories. Wir waren das erste Mal in Griechenland und sind begeistert von der Unterkunft und vom Gastgeber. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr schöne Lage. Sehr ruhig in einer Wohnsiedlung mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Der Check in erfolgt durch einen Zahlencode. Die Wohnung ist ausgestattet mit einer Klimaanlage die einwandfrei funktioniert, einer kleinen Küche die das nötigste für zwei Personen enthält, Rollladen, Duschgel etc. Dusche und WC sind getrennt. Generell handelt es sich bei dem Gebäude um einen sehr neuen Bau (3 Jahre bei meinem Aufenthalt). Das beste war, dass der Gastgeber nach Ankunft aktiv auf uns zukam und uns Empfehlungen für gute Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben hat. Nach Rücksprache mit uns wurde die Wohnung täglich gereinigt. Der Strand sowie die Uferpromenade von Nea Roda sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Generell ist es eine tolle Lage um Unternehmungen in der Nähe durchzuführen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich wärmstens empfehlen.

Vicky’s villa exceeded all expectations and is hands down our favourite Airbnb stay-to-date. The property is in a very well-maintained private estate and surrounded by lush greenery and olive trees. With its elevated location, we were treated to spectacular sea views from sunrise to sunset and there’s plenty of spots all around the villa to enjoy these including the various spacious outdoor terraces and the balconies outside the bedrooms. The swimming pools (both the jacuzzi and the bigger/deeper lap pool) and the ping pong table were a hit with our kids. Most of all, what made this stay extra special was Vicky’s helpfulness in providing us with local tips, as well as her parents who warmly welcomed us throughout our whole stay. As we stayed towards the end of the season (Oct), we were also lucky to see how the olives were harvested on our last day. All in all a wonderful stay and a great base to explore Sithonia by car.
