House vacation rentals in Mount Barker

We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. My daughters and I felt right at home, and even our dog, Loki, had the best time exploring the yard and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some quality time together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family- and pet-friendly getaway!

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Las Viñas. Paula was a great host, the house was easy to find, easy to get into, and beautifully clean when we arrived. Plenty of space for a large family, or for multiple adults. Walkable to town, and to some of the best wineries Australia has to offer. It was a great few days, and we will be back!

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. Our stay at this beautiful country home in Mt Torrens was truly unforgettable. I had planned to propose to my fiancée during our getaway, and thanks to our amazing host Hannah, it was more magical than I ever imagined. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely welcome. The home is peaceful, full of charm, and surrounded by breathtaking countryside. What made it even more special were the thoughtful touches Hannah added throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A real highlight was the private chef experience she recommended. It was intimate, delicious, and created the perfect setting for the proposal. Dining under the stars with incredible food made the moment truly unforgettable. This wasn’t just a place to stay, it was where a beautiful memory was made. Thank you, Hannah, for making our engagement weekend so special. We’ll treasure it forever.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Greg's place. It's a cool, modern, neat, well proportioned place, perfect for a couple's getaway. There's a great view across the valley. It's close to the city but has a total country vibe...with lots of quality wineries and restaurants nearby. We'd gladly stay again.

Rebekah was so lovely, attentive and accommodating of our travel plans and having the house nice and warm on arrival, really smooth check in, the kids loved the exciting cliff face cubby house and the chickens roaming around - and the fresh eggs were bright golden goodness :) nice big roomy house, very convenient location to visit family in Lobethal, we would stay again given the chance 😊

The location was great and the home was cosy Loved the fireplace We had a fantastic time .

Nice spot with great paddock views, shame we didn't get to enjoy the outside as it was windy/cold during our stay, but we enjoyed the fireplace and comfy couch/chairs both in the living room and the bedroom for a morning coffee. Kitchen was well stocked for us to self-cater. We also took advantage of the in-unit laundry which was nice. Great stay, would recommend!

Beautiful little cottage set up perfectly for our long weekend getaway. Walked over to the neighbours cellar door at shadow creek and had a beautiful wine tasting then back home to our Cosy fire 🔥 Definitely will stay again

Super place… the view is stunning (better than the restaurants and summits around)… place is very spacious and has at least 3 of everything we needed! Melanie and Tim are super responsive from checkin queries, local recommendations and helping to resolve a small issue (not their fault) in checkin. We loved our time in the place - easy to find and very close to everything we wanted to do in Adelaide. I’ll definitely be looking to see if this place is available on our next trip!

Peaceful accomodation set amongst bushland. Easy check-in, and very responsive host. Easy walk to shops - a bit harder on the way back, but it was great to see a koala along the way! Great sunset view from the top of the road. 15 minute drive to beautiful beaches.

Magnificent weekend away with my besties. The spectacular view, the sounds of the ocean and the beautiful weather made this weekend just perfect. Another added bonus was seeing farm animals and kangaroos around the property. We also enjoyed the lovely decorated house and cosy comfort. We took in the views, chilled out, cooked all our own meals and drank SA wine. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had and were kind enough to let us check in a little earlier on the day. Just over an hour drive from the city, this property is a rare gem.

Absolutely stunning property and the sunsets are out of this world. Highly recommend staying here if your looking to be south of Adelaide 10/10

From our very first interaction, we knew Lucy was going to be an excellent host. Always friendly and quick to reply, Lucy answered all our questions and provided local recommendations for our specific needs. The home itself (and it felt like our home for an all-too-brief time) was stunning. Two well-equipped floors, with all the equipment promised in the listing (and a few more) made this an excellent base for exploring the beautiful nearby beaches. We had two rainy days, but we actually really enjoyed a mid-holiday chill out in this remarkable property. Sunsets from one of the two balconies were memorable. Realistically, we're unlikely to actually need to use the property in the future (unless another neice decides to get married in Adelaide) but I would never rule out conjuring up a reason to visit Seacliff again, just so we could stay here. It's really that special.
