perfect location as walkable to everywhere in Ponsonby. we were in an apartment at the rear side of the property I.e. not facing Williamson Ave so it was super quiet. host was extremely responsive to messages and phone calls even at 3am when I couldnt find the correct door to get into the building (my mistake as I read the instructions wrong). place was super clean, and the bed so comfortable. If i had to pick on anything it would be that the bathroom tap needs tightening as its wobbly and there is no shelf in the shower so all your products are on the floor. my partner is over 6 foot tall and has a bad back so bending down to get his products was a nuisance. We would definitely stay again.

Gordon’s place was an absolute delight from start to finish! The space was immaculately clean, beautifully organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen, it truly felt like a home away from home.

Samantha’s place was absolutely brilliant and felt really new too. It’s in a stunning location with amazing heritage homes all around and right at the foot of the mountain so loads of beautiful gardens and huge magnificent historic trees galore. We loved walking around this well established area. It was perfect for us being close to relatives and all shops too. Its the perfect place also for anyone needing clean, quiet, close to everything and in walking distance to shops and restaurants, wifi, full kitchen, laundry, warmth, comfy bed, light and bright and very safe feeling. Just a note regarding access… we had no problems with the stair, but there are lots of them so not ideal for prams or those seniors with walking frames or accessibility needs. Otherwise it’s perfect. Amazing Air BnB that was 10/10! Henry's place is super cool, amazing art, furniture and style... this is one of the best spots I've stayed in Auckland and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Host was so welcoming, he left cold beers and drinks in the fridge along with fresh bread, eggs and other food to ensure I was well looked after on arrival. Super helpful and went over and above to ensure it was a great stay. Easy self check in, great WIFI, the place has everything you need and was extremely clean and tidy. The home is in the best location, with local cafe's, food stores, parks and beach all within 5-10mins walk. Thanks Henry!!

Our stay at Wendy and Louis’s place was perfect for what we needed. As we were visiting family nearby the location couldn’t have been better. Check in and out was seamless and everything was clean and well presented. Would definitely stay again if we need to visit family again.

This was a magnificent apartment. The pictures don’t do it justice - especially the balcony overlooking the harbor. It is well covered, so in a soft rain, you can still sit outside. The rest of the apartment was very comfortable. The instructions to get into the apartment were very clear. Michelle and Chris were lovely, helpful and communicative hosts. They responded quickly to all communications. I highly recommend this property!

Small place (would only recommend for two people) but in a great location and has everything you need! Very easy to walk around town from the location. Place was clean and hosts were very communicative!

Really nice self contained apartment. Andy, the host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the light airy apartment and the outlook to the garden. The 5' bed was an unexpected feature which we liked. The mini kitchen had a one ring ceramic hob which was really useful for cooking, which we didn't expect! The apartment is close to a park, a coast walk and shops/coffee shops, on a nice quiet street in a lovely area.

Really enjoyed staying here! The place was super clean and spacious and within walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and town area! It was pretty private despite being so close to a lot of restaurants and nice coffee places. Although it was a bit difficult to find the keys and get access to the car park at first, Simon gave ample instructions to check into the apartment. Will stay here again when I come back to Auckland!

Max and Emily were fantastic hosts. The apartment was new, modern, clean and stylish. Messages were responded to promptly and no request was too much. Location was fantastic and great walking distance to lots of restaurants.

A fantastic stay in a lovely apartment. Steve was on hand and met us at check in. The place was lovely and clean with plenty of amenities. Well located near the city - a great find hosted by a great host.

Overall I had a pleasant stay at the studio apartment. There are takeout places and Lynnmall is just a few bus stops away. I feel safe as a solo traveler because there is a police station next door. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Close distance to bus stops and Avondale train station, Laundromat nearby which is quite convenient. Highly recommended stay in Avondale.

Christiaan was a wonderful host and has a great place! The location was excellent—close to everything—and it provided a great workspace for remote work. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious. The host went out of his way to help in any way, and everything about this stay was excellent!

This was my third time staying at Aneez's place. It is always the first accomodation I check availability for when travelling to Auckland City. The unit is in a perfect location to avoid city noise but close enough to easily walk to any number of restaurants and bars. Special tip for anyone staying here for the first time. You can avoid walking up the steep hill on Victoria Street but taking the eacilator up the hill on Hight street right to the entrance!

Our second stay. Great Airbnb. Lots of thoughtful extras like an umbrella, extra towels, lots of local information. Fantastic being able to use the swimming pool & gym. Highly recommend Kerri’s Airbnb.
