There is NO wifi Our cosy cottage has two bedrooms, large bathroom/laundry space and an open plan kitchen, dining, living area heated by a large heat pump. The mighty Tongariro River with its world famous trout fishing pools is at the end of the road, the Turangi township is a 5 min drive or a beautiful walk past the river and the Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro crossing are only 40mins away.

A beautiful new spacious modern home in Motuoapa on lake Taupo, only 30 minutes from Taupo and 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski field. Great location to enjoy the lake for water skiing or fishing. The new marina /boat ramp is just 500m away. Enjoy the world famous trout fishing on the Tongariro river less than 10 minutes down the road. A/C upstairs and downstairs for summer cooling or winter heat. The amazing Tongariro Crossing track starting point at Mangatepopo is just 45 minutes away.

Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

A perfect gathering place for the extended family to make memories. “Manawa” sleeps 10 comfortably in the house with overflow to sleep 12 in the insulated and carpeted garage. Our home is a great central base for the many activites the wider area has to offer including skiing, mountain biking, walking tracks and water sports on Lake Taupo. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with 3 playgrounds, a tennis court and basketball court in the area, walking distance to the lake, we would love to have you stay, relax and enjoy magical Motuoapa.
