You will find green spaces for hiking, picnics, canoeing, and a playground. As of 1/1/2025, the tourist tax came into effect. Sea Roots "Sea Zone" is located in Mosteiros, a favourite for holidays amongst the island residents for its great weather, rock pools, fishing, diving and the amazing sunsets, which can only be contemplated from the western tip. It comfortably suits up to 4 people and is part of a property where we also live. Just cross the road for a swim in crystal clear pools, and enjoy the most amazing sunsets while dining outside, this house is perfect for a relaxing holiday!

Casa do Galo is a five-minute walk away from the “green lake”, and only three from the “blue lake”, giving you the opportunity to enjoy, comfortably, the peace and tranquility of the Sete Cidades volcano crater, immersed in the different shades of green. There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.

House with Suspended Living Room

Our Retreat is a rural nineteenth-century house, restored with the desire to conserve the time of construction characteristics. Not only did we keep the main structure of the house, but also the fire oven and the respective chimney, the mill of wine production and the basalt stone floor . And, to finalize we added a suspended living room - literally a glass cube.
