Vacation rentals in Morthen

We had a lovely time staying in Jane's house (5 adults, 1 four-year-old). The house is bigger than you'd expect from the photos, especially the kitchen, which made prepping meals very easy, and some of the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable and the house is cosy and warm. There are lots of beautiful walks nearby (we'd particularly recommend Robin Hood's Stride - great for kids). We felt right at home here and would happily come back again!

Our stay was very comfortable; the house was roomy, spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was fabulous and only a stones throw from some of the popular walks in the area. We would stay there again. Car parking is on the street and the village was very busy when we stayed, so we had to leave the cars a hundred meters, or so, from the house. However, it felt safe enough to leave the cars out of sight.

We had a great stay at Sam’s place for a friends holiday, the cottage was spacious for 8 of us plus one infant with plenty of parking available. The surroundings are beautiful and there were some lovely walks directly from the cottage. Sam was really responsive to any questions we had. We also organised a grocery food delivery for our arrival which worked really well so would recommend to others too! The hot tub was excellent and the cottage felt very private considering the buildings around it. Would highly recommend so thank you! ☺️

Utterly incredible venue and hosts. We loved the characterful property, the rural location and the beautiful views. The Butterton area is wonderful and you must go a bit further to Wetton and visit Thor’s Cave if you’re into walking. Highly recommended and the pool is such an delightful bonus 🫶🫶

Highly recommend this spot close to Peak District. Donna is amazing and made whole process super easy. The place is so well done up and felt right at home. It’s a beautiful 2 bed with outdoor seating area. Highly recommend this place 👍🏽

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. It was a fantastic first experience also for my son to feed the checking, and collect and eat their eggs. Thank you for welcoming us.

Wow what a place, we had a truly lovely stay! Lucy is a fantastic host, very welcoming, friendly & informative! Lucy even left us a welcome basket! Filled with essentials plus prosecco, biscuits & a homemade lemon cake - Lucy went above and beyond! It is such a beautiful, private, welcoming and relaxing annex! Perfect for a break from busy day to day life! Fab for the puppies too, with a private secure outdoor garden and amazing location with great walks and trips. Stayed for my mums 50th birthday, the views are amazing & the house is stunning! Beds are really comfy the place had everything we needed for our short trip away, would love to stay again!
