Waking up in the cozy bed and feeling like you are sleeping in the beautiful woods with deer just outside the giant expansive windows is really something. This house was great for a winter weekend getaway! Great Barrington, Lenox, and Stockbridge are all adorable towns to visit and are a 15 - 30m drive away. The house itself was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Shay was very responsive. Something to know about the area is that ride shares and cabs are hard to come by, so having a car that fit everyone we were traveling with was crucial for our group to get around town.

We stayed for two nights in January and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our group (a family of 5, a family of 3, and a couple). We all had our own spaces and own bathrooms, with spacious common areas to hang out together. Adam was a great host who was very helpful, responsive, and up-front about everything. We look forward to staying again - maybe in the summer months next time so we can enjoy the lake as well.
