Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Morgantown

This was an absolute gem of a property! A well kept cozy farm house with picturesque views all around. A lovely welcome basket of treats was provided upon arrival! Incredibly priced for the size of the home as well as being very clean. Our favorite feature of the house was the wood burning fireplace- ending the evening around the fire was a perfect way to close out each day! 10/10 property.

We had a great time at Gabriel's place! We felt like college students again staying here while visiting our son at WVU! We hiked nearby and walked to local brewery and downtown. We also loved relaxing on the porch in the morning with our coffee! Great view of the river and whole downtown! We would stay here again.

This was an excellent, beautiful place to stay. We all enjoyed our stay very much. I will definitely book another reservation here in the future.

Stayed here for a fun weekend in Morgantown. Highly recommend, by far the cheapest AirBnb we found and is amazing for the price. Maria is a delight to work with. She answered any questions we had very quickly. She even left us a surprise after 2 people in our group canceled on us. Thank you Maria!!

We found a "six" star gem walking in the door at Woodhaven. The photos, though true to life, could not adequately convey the warmth and coziness of the living quarters, cleanliness of the rooms, well appointed furnishings in the kitchen, high end bedroom linens and abundance of puzzles/games to keep one entertained and engaged. Wendy's attention to detail, hospitality AND ability to orchestrate a "blizzard" was beyond our expectations and imagination. When we connected in October as owner/renter soon changed to feeling like friend/family in February. We thank you for being instrumental in adding to our treasure trove of memories.

We loved our stay! The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we might need. The light pollution is much lower than in the city where I'm used to, so stargazing in the hot tub was an unexpected pleasure. The only downside was that we didn't realize that in the winter when the trees are bare, the balcony with the hot tub is quite visible from the road and the farm across the street, so it felt less private than we had hoped.

What a nice, comfortable cottage backing onto the Cheat River! The back porch is great for morning coffee & breakfast & the kitchen is spacious & well-equipped. Rowlesburg is close to many nice areas for hiking/biking & an easy hour drive to Morgantown to visit our son. One thing I always appreciate about being home in WV (grew up near the Ohio River) is the open-ness & friendliness of the locals just about anywhere I go.

We had a great stay at Erica’s place, it was cozy and had lots of charm and character. Erica was very accommodating and communicated instructions in a clear and friendly way. We would love to stay again.

Absolutely fantastic! The place itself was so cute! Had everything we needed and even had dog bowls and a crate! Close to everywhere we were looking to and easy to find. Wanda and her husband could not be nicer!! So welcoming, helpful and responsive! Perfect place to stay! Cannot thank you both enough!

Alex and Rebecca went above and beyond expectations and were flexible when we needed to extend the stay another day. They were fantastic at communicating to ensure that we were able to get into the building and sent multiple recommendations on things to do and places to eat while we were there. This was the best Airbnb we have stayed at. The local recommendations were wonderful. The thought and detail that have been put into everything was amazing - from the bird feeders outside the window to the very well equipped kitchen. We hope to make it back in the future!

It was the perfect place for my family to stay for the weekend. It's close to the campus but in a nice out of the way neighborhood.

Everything was great, place was clean & as described. Only thing I was not crazy about was it was on the lower level which I knew but the condos are older so everything happening upstairs I heard all night long. The second night I put on white noise so it helped me because I’m a VERY light sleeper. Our friends and my husband had no issues sleeping but I hear everything so for me I wish I had brought ear plugs. I swear a leaf could fall outside and I’d wake up and be up for 2 hours. Overall we absolutely loved this place and would definitely recommend it and stay again! We almost don’t want anyone to know about this gem so it’s available the next time we come to see the Mountaineers play!! Perfect place & perfect location!!! Thanks for letting us stay!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was comfortable and felt very inviting, with cozy touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was especially great—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. This was a great place for four to stay while visiting our Mountaineer. Kitchen facilitated game day tailgate prep, and it was an easy ride down to the stadium. Laura is an easygoing host and cares about the maintenance and appearance of her listing.

I can't say enough great things about this place! it was so cozy and comfortable! My friend and I went for a girls getaway weekend to relax and this was so ideal! They even prepped the fireplace for us! I would definitely come back here and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else!
