What can I say about this wonderfully quaint and quirky cottage that hasn't already been written? Probably nothing, but once you've picked your jaw up off the floor it's impossible to not be totally besotted by this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the pictures really don't do it justice. Our initial exploration of the spotless interior was way beyond our expectations, it's simply stunning and is the perfect blend of old and new. Everything we needed was provided and the comprehensive notes provided by Sue were more than adequate in providing clear directions and instructions for the various appliances, etc. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every way possible, if you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic cottage with a truly spectacular garden and doorstep access to to miles of public walkways look no further. Finally, a huge thinks to our wonderfully responsive host Sue for offering this property on Airbnb, very, very highly recommended.

Beautiful property - like something out of grand designs! Lovely, peaceful spot in the middle of the countryside with a great local pub within walking distance.

Our second time here and just as special! Joe is so kind and thoughtful - he leaves you a lovely welcome pack including bread, eggs, milk, jam, cereal etc. The cottage is stunning and so peaceful, the outdoor space is fantastic with the hot tub overlooking the stunning gardens and woodland. Would recommend The Black Horse for their burgers and views over the Cotswolds, and Henry’s Bakehouse for brunch. Ernie the dog is also super friendly and a welcome visitor! 🐾 Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A perfect little bolt hole for a visit to Bourton-on-the-water. Everything was walking distance and the place was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was the lack of comfortable seating in the lounge. There was the sofa/sofa bed but for a place that accommodates 4 people, it would benefit from additional seating. Apart from this, it was a lovely place and parking outside was a bonus too.

Had a wonderful long weekend at Bretforton Manor. Lucy was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. Everything in the Coach House was spotless and well equipped and we loved having the use of the swimming pool and gardens which were beautiful. Our visit coincided with Bretforton open gardens weekend which was hosted in the Manor garden so we also got to see other gardens in the village as well as entertainment and delicious refreshments on our doorstep. The Fleece Inn pub is a 5 minute walk and we recommend the food there too. Perfect location for exploring the area with Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate a short drive away. Mark was an excellent host. He was proactive in regard to accessing the property and asked well ahead of time about our preferences in relation to food items he provided. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and provisions ( one of the best 'welcome packs' we have had - milk, wine, grapes, bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam ). And lovely to have an induction cooktop. There was an ample supply of maps, brochures and books about the local area and the wider Cotswolds. The dining table looked out over a lovely back garden. A comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom. All in all a very comfortable stay and a great host. The home is in the 'suburbs' of Winchcombe making it easy to access with a car from all directions and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. But it is in a modern estate, not classic old Cotswolds stone if that is important.

We only wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful flat! Julia and Tarkan’s flat is wonderfully situated for exploring Broadway and the flat itself was a perfect balance of old English charm and modern convenience! The space suited our family of 3 beautifully and was well equipped for anything you might need. The shop/bakery next door became my new favorite (try ALL the pastries!!) but if you need a more traditional grocery store (we had a toddler in tow with pickier tastes ;), there is one less than a 3 minute walk away! Broadway itself was wonderful too— beautifully manicured and full of shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pretty walks, and my son’s new favorite playground! :) Definitely visit Broadway and stay at Julia and Tarkan’s flat— you’ll be so glad you did! Thank you again Julia and Tarkan! We’ll be back! :)

This was genuinely one of our favourite Airbnb stays. Sim and Sarah were such thoughtful hosts – we felt really well looked after from the moment we arrived. They’d left out some beautiful fresh flowers from their garden, a batch of delicious homemade shortbread, and plenty of breakfast bits for the next morning, which meant we could just settle in and relax straight away. Everything was comfortable, welcoming, and clearly put together with care. It made for a really lovely and restful experience. We’d absolutely love to stay again next time we’re in the area – thank you, Sim and Sarah!

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

If you are looking for a centrally-located cottage in the Cotswolds, this place is ideal. Located in a cozy village with multiple pubs and a cute village shop within walking distance. The cottage is well designed with the guest in mind. From here you can drive to Stratford, Burton on Wold, Warwick and other Cotswold attractions. Sue is a fantastic host and made sure I had everything I needed--even reservations and yummy treats. Loved my stay!!

Lovely stay at this Airbnb, would recommend. Used as a base to visit friends. Peaceful neighbourhood and walkable to things of interest. Bed very comfy and Julian was a great host!

We had the most wonderful time at this charming farm stay! Every morning we woke up to breathtaking views of endless pastures, and each evening the sunset painted the entire farm in golden hues - so beautiful it took our breath away. Our host couldn't have been more thoughtful! She warmly introduced us to her adorable donkeys - they were absolutely delightful! The room was cozy and comfortable, with picture-perfect views of the pastoral landscape right outside our window. This kind of experience is simply impossible to find in the city.

Our stay here was wonderful! Alison gave perfect instructions on how to get there and greeted us when we arrived, which was a lovely personal touch. The place was clean and tidy with all the amenities required, and the most beautiful lake view. The location was perfect for walking into Bourton-on-the-Water and for driving to other areas within the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay - this is a perfect place for couples / friends traveling together (3bedrooms all en-suite). Being right in the heart of Stow-on-the Wold it was so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Was a great check in with John who gave clear instructions and a brief intro to the apartment. It’s an historic building nestled in a beautiful secluded spot but immediately accessible to Stroud including a walkable supermarket. We were treated to a brass band on Sunday morning from the park bandstand opposite! Comfortable and cosy interior perfect for our short stay. John was the perfect gentleman and host

We had a great stay, it was ideal for my partner and I, and our dog due to the very spacious garden for her to run around in. The Annex exactly as pictured and described and had everything you’d need for a relaxing and peaceful time away. Sam the host was very helpful if we needed anything and made it easy for us to check in. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area, especially with a dog. Couldn’t fault it, we will definitely be returning!

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

Rachel and David’s place was absolutely gorgeous. It was very light and airy and had everything required for our stay. Parking was easy and it was within walking distance to beautiful Bourton on the Water and within close driving to other gorgeous Cotswold towns and attractions. There were plenty of recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. The walk to Upper Slaughter was a standout We had a fabulous stay. Highly recommended

The Loft in Stow-On-The-Wold is the perfect little Cotswolds getaway! The accommodation is in a great location right amongst everything you need but also still private. The place itself is very clean and welcoming and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! Amanda is very friendly and communicative, she gives you all the details you need in preparation for arrival and makes sure you are okay throughout your stay! Highly recommended and would love to return again!

An exceptional Airbnb in the heart of Cheltenham. It is a beautiful and stylish home with thoughtful touches. We were met with delicious home made scones on arrival. Doug was very communicative, getting back to me almost instantly. The flat is a great size, well laid out, with incredibly comfy beds and a delightful courtyard that we enjoyed in the sunshine. Just a few minutes walk from the center of Cheltenham with on street parking. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.
