We had a lovely stay in the gite. The big garden in the back was wonderful for the kids and dog. The house had everything we needed and more during our bouldering trip. I hope we can come back again.

The house and setting is beautiful. Excellent bedding. It was really great. The only small downside is that there were no photos of the outdoor staircase to access the house. The person accompanying me is prone to dizziness and had difficulty descending due to the void and no ramp. Same for toddlers... there is still a risk that they will fall inadvertently...

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Jean-Rene's house which was well equipped with everything you needed. Jean-Rene was very easy to contact and was quick to respond. He gave many recommendations of places to eat and sites to visit. The natural elephant statues in the forest were amazing, the forest is just a short walk from the house. This was our first visit to Barbizon, the house is perfectly located near to the centre of the village which is a delight to walk through.

Jérôme's accommodation is easy to access and quiet, set back from the street. The house is perfectly equipped and functional. We enjoyed the plaid to cuddle up on the couch.

The stay went great! The accommodation was as described, very clean, comfortable and good location. Noëlle was responsive, welcoming and caring. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Matthias and Julie's. The cottage was beautiful, neat and spacious. The forest is a 5-minute walk away, and the supermarket is nearby. Ideal base for hiking and bouldering. The cottage was very complete, the kitchenware very extensive, even basic ingredients, cake form, etc. The beds were wonderful and very nice bedding. A lovely sunny garden. We will definitely come back!

Very good experience! The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and as described. The location is ideal and the setting is very beautiful. Mohand was available and responsive throughout the stay. Only small downside: a slight lack of ventilation that causes a little humidity in the room — which is quite understandable with the presence of the jacuzzi. Fortunately, the presence of air conditioning and a dehumidifier helps to improve this point.

The apartment is compliant and spacious with little extras: reading for adults and children, radio in the shower and Netflix access. Very quiet area, little traffic, and the double glazing filters even the birdsong. Easy to park in front of the house. Please note, there is a lot of walking to get to the apartment (entrance + 1 floor) and the apartment is not suitable for toddlers (accessible stairs).

The accommodation was perfectly as described, everything went superbly well, communication with Clement was smooth and easy. The location of the accommodation allows easy walking access to all nearby shops and the center of Fontainebleau without effort. Our stay went very well:)

I advise people to book their weekend stay, even long term, at Thomas's. The neighborhood is very good, with lots of shops next door, plus transportation. The accommodation is very very clean. Thomas is very kind and very attentive and always responds to the needs of his guests. I will gladly return.
