We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

This place is absolutely amazing - my favourite town (and accommodation) in a week-long road trip around Sicily. The house itself has everything you need to be sufficient and feel at home, and the atmosphere and surroundings are second to none; peaceful, and aesthetically just stunning. We did a mix of walking round Montalbano Elicona and relaxing in the courtyard, and it was a lovely - if far too brief - stay. As for the hosts, Antonina and Frank were communicative and responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. You won’t regret booking this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria Rosa's! She was incredibly helpful even on arrival – we got lost, and she picked us up without further ado. Throughout the stay, she was always available, but always reserved, so you had absolute peace and privacy. The place was very clean, stylishly decorated and had a very special charm that we immediately took to heart. The view was amazing and the sea was just a stone's throw away. At this time of year, we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves – fantastic! Other cities, activities and destinations are also easily accessible by car. So if you are looking for peace and relaxation, but do not want to miss out on small adventures, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We were well received by the host with a lot of explanation about the beautiful place and surroundings. There was also a dentist appointment arranged by Emanuela which was great. Always possible to ask anything. The place is great ,we were surprised that it is a pilgrimage place but this time of year very quiet. The garden is beautiful and especially in summer with lots of sun. we enjoyed the area very much and also had a nice walking appointment with guide in national park Bosco di MAlebotto/ Rocco Argimusco ( food in Montelbano,opposite the castle) which was really great. This place is highly recommended'.
