We loved the stay! The place was very homely and close to almost every place we wanted to visit. Renuka was so sweet and helpful! She was so kind and friendly…we will definitely be back ❤️

Really cool place to stay. The view from the room is incredibely beautiful! It is little bit far from beach, but not so bad. The breakfast was really delicious and for a reasonoble price - not included. I really recommend to stay here, because the place and the room is so cool.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

Our room at Chandi's was amazing. We loved our stay at her place. Chandi is so kind. You'll feel right at home thanks to its discreet presence but always available if needed. Chandi cooks delicious breakfasts that I warmly recommend. Plus, the home overlooks a beautiful garden. If we return to the area, we will return to Chandi's place.

Best place in Ahangama close enough to everything while still being in your little relaxing nook of heaven. The staff is super nice and attentive to our needs. Cook is amazing we were not planning on it but as our stayed continued we had more and more meals at the house. The pool area and garden are gorgeous and relaxing and is really the highlight!

Navindra is very kind and excellent host. One my friend broke his leg and Navindra helped us (made breakfast, brought medicines, helped to move him). The beaches near the guesthouse are clean, there are many tasty and cheap restaurants right near the ocean. I advise everyone to choose this host and in that case you do have a good rest!

We stayed at the place for two nights. Nick was super friendly and easy to communicate. And the guy who was there to help us was fantastic. He helped us with everything during the stay. We were extremely delighted with the way they treated us. And the place was super nice, clean and surrounding was as described. Would wanna recommend this place to others as well.

Malli's guesthouse is a jewelry hidden in a residential neightbordhood. The perfect option to rest and very well located to move everywhere you want to go. You can rich koggala beach by walking ;) He and his family offer the most delicious Sri Lanka traditional food. If you need transport they also offer Tuk Tuk and bike with convenient price.

Wow, what an amazing stay! The suite was stunning—spacious, spotless, and perfect for our big family. The pool was sparkling clean, and the balcony views of the ocean were breathtaking. Having a private beach and surfing school nearby was such a bonus! Manoj, the host, was super helpful and always available, making everything easy for us. The quieter side of Weligama beach was lovely, but it’s just a quick ride to Mirissa or the main area if you want more action. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed family getaway!

Very friendly host and family! Check-in was flexible, the place was clean and the breakfast was delicious. You can walk to the beach in 5 to 10 minutes. By bus you can quickly get to town or other beaches.

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

We had a lovely time at Lova’s place! The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Short reminder that there is no AC but with the open windows and fan the heat was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing, waking up to the sun and sounds of the forest was a dream. The location was a little remote, we rented a scooter to get to the beaches (takes ca 25 min to Hiriketiya, 15 min to Tangalle).

We loved our stay here! Great location and huge room! The ladies who cooked breakfast each morning were also lovely! Would recommend staying here is you come to Weligama!

Amazing stay very close to main Mirissia beaches, beautiful surroundings but I would recommend renting a scooter/ tuktuk to make easier your displacement towards the area. Yummy breakfast and you can even practice Yoga on your terraza. Recommended!

When we arrived, the whole family welcomed us very kindly with a delicious fruit juice and the luggage was already brought upstairs in no time. The rooms and kitchen are on the 1st floor by a great garden with all kinds of bird voices. We were always downstairs at breakfast and the family read every wish from our eyes. If you want to go to the beach or into town, you can walk 200 meters to Haustrasse and stop a tuck tuck, if you are lucky you will also catch one right in front of the property. All in all super nice hosts and a really great property

Really great accommodation nearby to beautiful quiet beaches - as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Manju’s food is also the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, would return just for this!

We stayed 4 nights, very nice accommodation, nice kitchen, everything is functional. Very good hosting by Nisha, always smiling and ready to help you. She even adapted the French breakfast which is hearty... she booked a scooter for us, bus, tuk tuk nearby, small convenience store, very good inexpensive restaurant 5 minutes away on the beach. We highly recommend it.

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))

We had a great stay. The location is an easy walk to the main beach and restaurant strip. The pool is a great addition and as it appears in the photos. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here!
