Here, it's easy to thrive! The bed is freshly made with sheets when you arrive and clean towels are provided. This is a truly cozy 27-square-meter (290-square-foot) cottage with a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29-square-meter (310-square-foot) veranda with a magnificent view of Lake Siljan. The cottage is located on a private property (5,000 sqm) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Siljan, 10 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg. There are nice walking paths along Lake Siljan nearby, both summer and winter.

The cottage is 30 sqm with a small bedroom (two beds), bathroom, living room with sofa bed, table and two chairs, as well as a mini kitchen. There is a small loft over the bedroom. Between sleeping and living rooms there is a sliding door. The living room has big windows with slatted curtains and a door to a terrace. On the terrace there is outdoor furniture and an umbrella. In the living room there is an air heat pump with A/C. 20 meters to the beach. The kitchen has an induction stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. The host couple live in the house next door.

Sofa bed 120 cm with extra mattress. Sheets and towels are available to rent for SEK 75 per person! Bathroom with shower/floor heating. Free Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix. Here you live in a brand new "apartment" in my courtyard house. (Nov 2025) A quiet area, a stone's throw from Anders Zorn's birthplace, 2.5 km to the city center and the Vasa Race finish line. Walking distance to Åmåsängs swimming area in Siljan, 15-20 min drive to popular Tomteland and Gesundaberget. The apartment has a ground floor with a kitchenette, large dining table, sofa and TV in the living room, bathroom and bedroom. The upper floor includes a sleeping loft. This always includes bed linens and towels when booking.

Tomteland is about 1.5 miles away and worth a visit. The forest is close for lovely walks and spending time. Siljan is within walking distance to the swimming area/Saxviken or the swimming area/Kepphusviken at Mora Park
