Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Montvalezan

We had a wonderful week's vacation with my wife and 9-year-old son in Anne's home. Everything matches the listing and photos. The accommodation is very well located between 3 ski resorts (Manigod, La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand about twenty minutes away), Annecy is very close too so plenty of activities to do nearby. We'll be happy to go back, I highly recommend it.

Very nice house, spacious, clean and pleasant with views of the snow-capped peaks. An exterior conducive to rest in the sun. Beautiful area with beautiful walks, beautiful scenery. Communication with Sarah is very easy. Everything was perfect during our stay!

We really enjoyed staying in this house. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. All our needs were thought out and fully met. The kitchen had everything for cooking and the seating area was quite comfortable. The location was also quite good; we had a pleasant time in a quiet and peaceful environment. The host was also extremely kind and communicative, quick to help with everything. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the house.

Cozy cottage, mountain spirit assured with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, it lacked nothing.t. all. We were greeted with a beautiful Christmas tree, accompanied by small gifts. The cottage was well heated, clean, impeccable bedding, bathroom the same, open kitchen, functional, well-equipped. I would recommend this cottage located in a charming little village. Thanks to the owner.

Visited with friends for cycling, was perfect location for the nearby famous climbs, house well equipped to cater for cyclists with space for bikes, tools are provided etc. Loads of space. Quite quirky collection of stuff in the house. Communication with Emma was really easy and quick, thank you Emma!

This was a lovely chalet with the most incredible views. Lots of space and the bonus of toys for our 6/9 year old grand children. We found having a car great to drive them 7 minutes to ski school but there were ski buses. Shops within a 10 minute walk. For us the nursery slope with a drag lift 2 minutes walk at the end of the road for tobogganing/skiing was a massive bonus for late afternoon fun. What more can you say when your 9 year old grandson says it was the best holiday he had ever had a didn’t want to leave (neither did we).

A lovely house and garden in a smart, quiet residential neighbourhood only a few minutes walk to Lake Annecy. All facilities very well appointed and beautiful interior. Would highly recommend.

The apartment was great, great location, the views were unreal and it was very modern and clean! We would recommend to anyone, if we every come back to Chamonix we will come back and stay again. Thank you for making it such a great trip.

We had a wonderful stay with friends. The cottage is very large and typical, very well appointed and extremely equipped. There's nothing missing! Dishes in quantity, 2 raclette machines, 2 fondue appliances, small grocery store and even a sodastream! The rooms are very spacious and the lobby is very convenient for returning from the slopes. Don't go over it because it may no longer be available for us next time 😉

We loved our stay at Paul's place! Super convenient and walkable to plenty of great restaurants and shops. The hosts were helpful in giving us recommendations on how to navigate the area and which spots to hit. We did have to purchase our own bath soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent, but everything else was well-stocked!

The apartment worked really well for us. Great location within easy walk of slopes and shops etc. We arrived quite late and Jerome was really helpful and provided all the info we needed to ensure easy access.

Had a great time, super Airbnb for staying a couple of days in Megève. Arrived late and was easy to find and acces. Really recommend especially with a fully ecquiped kitchen and a nice spa. Thank you for the stay.

Edo was an excellent communicator. He was incredibly friendly and he went out of his way to answer questions that we had regarding various issues unrelated to the apartment in an incredibly timely fashion. It was obvious that it was very important to him that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at his cozy apartment. The apartment was very charming and the location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the city center. I would highly recommend Edo's apartment, especially during ski season. We look forward to staying at his place again in the near future because we enjoyed our stay at his apartment so much. Thank you, Edo!

Spacious, clean and functional accommodation, consistent with the photos. Ideally located for a break in the countryside, between the mountains and Lake Annecy, offering superb landscapes. Very good advice from Cathy for beautiful hikes from the cottage. Excellent welcome from Cathy, very caring, and special mention to her husband who showed us the entrance to the cottage on arrival with a lot of humor. Don't miss the homemade reblochon cheese sold right next door at the farm restaurant. An exotic and invigorating stay! I highly recommend it!

We were on a family holiday with a mixture of adults and kids and babies. Cecile’s place was great for our holiday. It is very well located, it was a 5min walk to a small group of shops that had restaurants and a beautiful patisserie, 5min walk to a supermarket, 5min walk to restaurants on the lake, 5min walk to multiple bustops and a bus top right outside but most importantly only 5min walk to the beach and is a lovely walk through a reserve. The old town is also walking distance about 30min along a beautiful lake front promenade. The house itself is spacious with a large living area in open plan and a balcony. It also has a large backyard which our kids loved playing in. The only downside for us would be that the upstairs bedrooms were rather warm while we were there but we still all slept well and it probably wasn’t appropriate for under 5 year olds with various ornaments and 3 levels of stairs. Thank you Cecile, our family will have great memories of our stay in Annecy.

Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

Benjamin's place was all we were looking for during kids' winter break: spacious enough for 2 families, great location and comfortable with all needed amenities. Location could not have been better: only 5 min drive to ski lifts & Megeve center, only 20 min walking distance to Megeve center with near-by shops for daily groceries. Benjamin was also very responsive and proactive, enabling us to have a very smooth check-in. We would definitely recommend and would like to come back again!

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. Marianne was very thoughtful with a tree on when we arrived, the kids were thrilled! Everything was impeccable in the house which is very spacious. There were 7 of us including 3 children and two more small dogs and we didn't walk on them, everyone could have their own space. Close to the St François longchamp ski resort 30 min away, recommended by Marianne. Great for teaching kids skiing And finally the point that was most important for us was to find a house that accepts dogs ( and it's increasingly rare), again a big thank you to Marianne.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything worked out great. The lake is always worth a trip and leads you to dream :) Large windows in all directions bring maximum brightness and a great view.
