The Bread Oven

DelphineRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Nelly & Laurent gave us a warm welcome and helped us with our car problem. Nelly always had good advice to give us on all subjects (tree climbing from 3 years old, osteopath for torticollis...). It's a little slice of heaven in the countryside and quiet, with animals and a pool. The place is nice and fresh. We couldn't have asked for a better place! And we'll be happy to come back...

Le Candeze

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

A charming house in the south

PhillipRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful month here. It was a home from home. Highlights were the views from the dining area which had huge dual aspect doors opening onto a patio shaded by wisteria and surrounded by fields, listening to the golden oriels calling every day and discovering amazing walks along the river in the next valley,(Roc du Gorb) and of course Najac. We never travelled further than an hour and never ran out of new places to see because we love exploring the medieval bastides of the region. Highly recommend.

Domaine de Lesquilourié, Cordes-sur-Ciel

JulietRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A beautiful big house in the french countryside. Stunning views. Ideal for large families or families travelling together especially with the annexe accommodation next to the main house. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Useful information board provided inside main house. The pool is a lovely size and we all enjoyed playing and swimming in there. The courtyard area was a nice space to socialise in during the summer evening. There are plenty of quiet places around the house to relax. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use. There are also two large lounges. We enjoyed exploring the local villages and Albi. The Aveyron gorge is stunning and we did an amazing kayaking trip from St Antonin. We had a fantastic holiday here.

La grange aux Cazals

MaximeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jean-Marc, Dominique and their daughter are adorable. They were very welcoming. We were delighted. The restoration of the barn is very successful. It's cozy, elegant, personal and very well-equipped, functional. If you are looking for a place to unwind, in a small part of the world, this is the place. Nature as your only neighbor. Ideal for cutting off from "modern life" but with all the comforts. Very well located place in Tarn, but on the border of Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne, with 2 great places, respectively Najac and Laguépie. And Cordes-sur-Ciel equidistant! We'll probably be back!

Apartment with balcony & courtyard

NatRating, 5 stars47 months ago
We did not occupy the apartment due to a transient problem but Dave offered us a lovely little house as a replacement. It was very cozy and we had a lovely stay in a natural and unspoiled environment in the hamlet of Canezac away from the village of Montirat. This haven of peace seduced us like Dave who is a good and caring man.
