My stay here was wonderful! The location was absolutely perfect for what we needed - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. They also had super soft cozy blankets as extras for the room which I adored! That was such a nice, homey touch. On top of all of that, I got sick the morning we were supposed to check out and our host was incredibly kind and allowed me to check out a little late since I was struggling so much. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture! I would definitely recommend staying here! :)

Perfect spot right in the downtown area of Albany. Super walkable area, space was as depicted and photos matched the listing. Very responsive hosts and extremely accommodating! Would recommend 😊

I can’t say enough how much these hosts went above or beyond. Before I checked in the window had been left open and it was very cold. The hosts came and made sure the heat was adjusted for comfort. They went above and beyond for comfort. Check in was very easy, the hosts were communicative, the rental was immaculately clean, and as advertised. I wanted to extend the previous one I had, but it was already booked. They offered me the one they had next door in the same building which just as nice as the previous. I will definitely stay again 💜

Dan was a terrific host. We let him know we’d arrive late, & when we pulled up in front, he came outside to greet us and carry our bags. He stocked the kitchen with some essentials & some extras, the coffee & filters were much appreciated. He was pleasant & friendly, and we recommend his place to anyone visiting Saratoga Springs. Easy walk to Skidmore.

Convenient, comfortable place to stop during a college tour trip, very close to RPI. Susan was very responsive with a recommendation.

Lovely stay! Felt very homey and met all of our needs. My husband was working so the desk in the bedroom was perfect and the internet speed was fantastic. We brought our Apple TV which worked out and made streaming easy. Appreciated the extras:)

Had a lovely stay here with a group of friends. The house is huge, very comfortable, well appointed with everything you'd need for a grand and cozy stay. What really sells it though is it's just beyond interesting- it's chock full of history, antiques, and endless charm. I'll be looking for an excuse to come back for sure!

What a beautiful, stylish, and comfortable house! We loved Helen’s elegant and well designed retreat in Cherry Valley. Amazing kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and nice linens. Beautiful backyard and a sweet barn cat. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Karen’s home is one of the historical buildings in this area, located in a historical town as well. The house is going through some upgrades right now and has a new kitchen and dining area, laundry room for guest use and privacy. She provides coffee for her guests and she shared seasonal harvest from her trees like apples, plums and squashes with us. It is a peaceful place and has a good vintage feel to it though she has modernized her with upgrades. This building used to be a spa. 5 other people live in the guest rooms too. We were able to go to Harvest Festival and enjoy Stewart’s Shops ice creams. Ample parking space. We liked living in this area for a while, it has a charm of its own and so does Karen’s home. Everything was provided promptly as needed. We were long term so we brought our own toiletries. Karen provided hand soap, shower gel, body lotion. The colors of Autumn in this area are beautiful too. I think we have to visit this historical spa town at least once in our life.

Spent 3 months at The Bashful Rabbit and had a wonderful stay. The Room (The Deirdre) was just what I needed, a comfortable bed, my own bathroom, linens and towels, and supplies in the cabinet in case anything was forgotten. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a fridge for food items, as well as cabinet space for anything you want to add. There was a window air conditioner when I arrived first checked in and a space heater for when the cold weather arrived (hey, it's an historic house). Off street parking is provided and the place is very quiet, especially at night. There is a downstairs dining room and parlor open for guests to use as well. I had a nursing assignment in Cooperstown (which is expensive considering it was fall/winter) and the 25 minute drive to work was easy. There is grocery shopping 8-10 miles away, a Stewarts at the corner on Main St with gas, Log House Mini Mart, deli, and liquor store 1/2 mile up 20, and of course driving further to Cooperstown or Johnstown will get you more stores and amenities. I will miss the resident dog, Daffodil, who is the friendliest puggle on the planet, as she is great company! Karen makes some very good, vegan breakfasts on the weekends as well as cereals, oatmeal, fruit, and coffee all the time. Karen has a lot of information and suggestions on places to go and see, where to hike, and there are farms and orchards to visit not too far away. I highly recommend The Bashful Rabbit for your stays in Cooperstown and the surrounding areas- you get a lot for your money and you get to sat in a piece of history as well!

Susan was so accommodating in so many areas! We are a large family, so when I mentioned to Susan that we wanted to rent her place, but we’re concerned about having one bathroom… They installed a beautiful, rustic styled full bath prior to our arrival!!! We could not have been more pleased! The pictures for the outdoor area do not do it justice – the pool, Jacuzzi, tiki bar area were amazing… The views from the deck were absolutely gorgeous! Entry was simple with a code on the door, followed by a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen! There was plenty of room for people to relax in and sleep. The house is a 10 minute ride to lake Sacandoga and a three minute ride local to Broadalbin. Perfect location. We are hoping to rent the same place next year! Thank you so much Susan for being so accommodating. Your home was lovely and we had a blast!

This is a charming bed and breakfast with an adorable doggie greeter. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Scones were very yummy!

Great stay overall! It’s an old boarding house with 6 guest rooms, and a newly furnished kitchen and living area for the guests. The owners dogs are super cute and very friendly. Parking is always available. I stayed here while working as a travel nurse at a local hospital - night shift. This place is pretty quiet during the day (minus some neighboring construction).

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is very peaceful, and close to many restaurants and the city center. The hosts are very responsive, and provide clear instructions prior to check in. The home is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. We will definitely come back when we go back to Saratoga!

This is our second time staying in this building. We preferred the first floor over the second only because I'm getting too old for stairs. Other than that, they're both amazing!

This was our second stay at the Owl's Nest. The location and the uniqueness of this charming condo was very welcoming. The condo looks just like the pictures online. The space was immaculate, comfortable and very cozy. The heated bathroom floor was a definite bonus, as well as the location which is just minutes away from Broadway. Our host Gillian was quick to respond to all of our inquiries. She was friendly and extremely accommodating. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a special gem in a perfect location in Saratoga.

Vin is a wonderful host. The property is a close walk to Downtown Saratoga and was impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and you will too.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Place was warm despite cold weather outside and large windows throughout the apartment. Exactly as listed. David was helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again.

Kevin’s place was a perfect fit for us! The neighborhood was quiet and the description of the apartment was spot on! It was close to the Stanley theater where we spent most of our weekend! We will surely be back next year!
