Located on our Mohawk Riverfront Property this beautifully renovated historic caboose was originally a D&H (Delaware Hudson) transfer caboose. Later sold to service the FJ&G Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville area in upstate NY. Includes a full kitchen, full bath and loft area with a double bed. First floor has a queen pull out sofa bed. nice neighborhood short distance to stores,lake,river,mountains ,bike path ,restaurants and Saratoga ideal for a short get away or as a business stay you have entire space to yourself including two floors and two baths note no hosting to more then one person unless they have at least one verified reveiw also not suitiable for small children .

Absolutely loved our stay! Exactly as described ! Visited Cooperstown for the Baseball hall of fame, Visited many local restaurants. Nice and quiet camp grounds, super friendly campers. Kids loved being there! Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Will definitely be back!!!

Matt’s place was amazing! It looks just like the pictures. We had 4 days of complete peace and quiet, other than the amazing sounds of nature. Plenty of land to explore and enjoy all alone. Matt was a great host, accommodating, fast to respond and very friendly. We can’t wait to go back! I might suggest bringing a small table for games or what not. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Susan was so accommodating in so many areas! We are a large family, so when I mentioned to Susan that we wanted to rent her place, but we’re concerned about having one bathroom… They installed a beautiful, rustic styled full bath prior to our arrival!!! We could not have been more pleased! The pictures for the outdoor area do not do it justice – the pool, Jacuzzi, tiki bar area were amazing… The views from the deck were absolutely gorgeous! Entry was simple with a code on the door, followed by a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen! There was plenty of room for people to relax in and sleep. The house is a 10 minute ride to lake Sacandoga and a three minute ride local to Broadalbin. Perfect location. We are hoping to rent the same place next year! Thank you so much Susan for being so accommodating. Your home was lovely and we had a blast!

I've had the pleasure to stay at Priscilla's place and it was a gem in the countryside. The area was very relaxing and peaceful and the house pets (I willl miss you Kita and Quentin!) only added to the charm. Priscilla, herself, was indeed generous and so attentive and made me feel so much at home and at ease that I felt like I have known her forever. Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay who happens to be in the area and would go back given another chance .

What a delightful escape! Our stay at The Stead on the farm was wonderful. The tiny house itself had absolutely everything we needed, and the thoughtful extra goodies provided by the Lyons family were such a lovely touch. The highlight was the unforgettable alpaca trek. We also enjoyed the chance to feed the farm animals. Robert’s warm welcome made us feel right at home on the farm. Beyond the animals, the peaceful location was perfect for unwinding. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and cozy up by the fire pit. This charming farm offers everything you need to truly reset and reconnect with nature and family.
