Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Montgomery County

We had an amazing stay at this home! Sherry has thought of everything. A fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, plenty of towels, coffee, creamer, spices, and even laundry and dish tabs. The secluded property is stunning, with a large yard where deer and wildlife graze in the mornings and evenings. The house is clean, beds are comfortable, and has an open floor plan perfect for groups. There’s plenty of entertainment: Wii, ping pong, toys for kids, cornhole, a fire pit, and porch chairs for relaxation. Conveniently, there’s a store two minutes away, the lake is five minutes, and Hot Springs is 30 minutes. The only small downside is one shower, but that’s minor compared to everything else this home offers!

We enjoyed our weekend at a quiet and remote cottage. There was plenty of space surrounding the cottage. It felt private. The cottage felt and smelled new and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was in the perfect location for crystal mining, which was exactly what we were looking for. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to assist when needed, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a wonderful host and a great stay!

We had a group of mountain biker racers from the Tulsa Oklahoma. We were there for a race in Oden for a school fundraiser. The drive was about 20min from this location. Worth every minute of the drive. This was the last year of this race. But if they bring it back we will 100% stay here again. Thank you letting book with you.

Great single story house on its own lot. 2 bedrooms were nice. Bathroom and kitchen worked well. Covered parking for 2 cars. Easy to get into. Quiet neighborhood. We ate at the local pizza place and burger place. Both were great.

Our stay at Julie’s cozy cottage was relaxing, & enjoyable. It was very clean, cozy, & inviting. My husband & I plan to visit here again soon. Julie is a great host!

Stayed here to do a mountain bike race and the location and accomodations were perfect for us. House was very clean and matched the description in the listing perfectly.

My family couldn't believe we found such a beautiful, clean place for our vacation. They thought we would be staying in a motel, which would have been the same price, but not as nice as Lexy's place. The place was open and airy with an open floor plan for the dining room, desk (workspace) and beds. The kitchen and bathroom were separate. Having grown sons, the beds in the same room allowed us to all just be with one another. If they had separate rooms we would have missed out on a lot of fun and laughter. An added plus was that Lexy's place had all of the mining items we needed for mining. We just needed to clean and return them. Thank you Lexy for having a wonderful home for us to stay at while on our trip.

We booked this condo last minute, and it was the most accommodating stay we’ve ever had with Airbnb. The host was very quick to reply, made sure we had what we needed, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Pictures do not do this place justice. It looks and feels brand new when you walk in the door, and everything is meticulous in the whole house. We couldn’t be more happy with our stay, and would recommend this condo to anyone! After staying here we wouldn’t think about booking anywhere else in mount ida. A true gem in a perfectly situated area.

Great place, host (Sherry) very responsive and made sure any questions we had, she answered. Kids loved board games. Spent a lot of time together in living area. It was worth a time spent together in this beautiful home.

We had an excellent time at Misty’s place. Her house was beautiful with amazing attention to details. All nooks and corners reflected beauty and her attention to detail. A cosy house with a beautiful patio overlooking the forest. There was access to lake at a very short distance. She had even placed Dog food bowls. Loved everything about this place. Amazing hosts who were courteous enough to let us extend our checkout. Misty proactively gave us recommendation for St Patrick’s Day parade and we are so glad to have experienced it.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week and had an absolute blast! The kids couldn’t get enough of playing pickleball on the courts, and if you’re into geocaching, this area is a goldmine—there are so many to find! The home itself was comfortable, and the owners were fantastic—quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing getaway!

My favorite place to stay on Lake Ouachita and in Mt Harbor. Everything you need with a great view of the lake. Zac and his family have my go to place and I will be back again soon.

We had the best vacation ever staying at the Resort!!! The condo was so cozy and felt right at home!! They were very accommodating! We loved all the treats and extra touches they left for us and welcoming us!! Definitely a great place to stay!!
