I had read in a couple reviews that this place is underrated and I agree. It’s incredible-you feel like you’re tucked away in the jungle but can still walk to restaurants. It’s private and immaculate. If you’re looking for something different, try this!

Nothing new to say that has not already been mentioned - this place is beautiful, and matches the photos pretty accurately. would definitely recommend for a unique stay and amazing sunsets. We really enjoyed everything about our stay. it was peaceful, private but still very close to all the action of town. the kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to make breakfast easily. We stayed with our 5 year old daughter, and caution just needs to be used with regards to the outdoor space for little ones, which we understood prior to booking from looking at the pictures.

Pedro's house was absolutely perfect and really made our trip to Monteverde special. The house wasn't too difficult to find with his instructions and our 4x4. Everything looked exactly like the photos. Everything was in perfect working order - hot water, great water pressure, super clean, nice linens, comfortable bed, beautiful deck and view... we felt super comfortable here, and it was a stress-free stay! The location was amazing, because you really feel secluded in the cloud forest, but you are also just a 5 minute drive into town with all the restaurants & shops. Felt extremely safe. We actually changed our trip dates in order to stay here, and I'm so glad we did. Pedro also had awesome communication, and our experience could not have been better! We miss sitting on the back porch at night with a blanket, listening to the sounds of the forest. Would highly recommend this one!

Jeffry's Oasis, Fika Haus, is a true gem in Monteverde. It's breathtaking; located in a beautiful garden oasis ( including some wildlife), quiet and private, yet near Santa Elena center and all activities. The airbnb has a cozy Scandinavian layout, perfect for the mountains, and an extremely polished, comfortable, and clean interior. Jeffry was so kind and responsive, a 5☆ host for a 5☆ place, Pura Vida! Gracias, we'll be back!

this was such a great spot to immerse ourselves in Monteverde. really rnjoyed having a beer on the deck swinging chairs on arrival...listening to the birds and watching the sun go down.

A very unique and beautiful rental property. Minutes away from Monteverde National Park. Gorgeous views of the from suite, the sunsets are definitely worth the trip. Pro tip: bring some ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper it can get loud if it’s windy.

Awesome space- saw some great wildlife. The environment of Monteverde is well displayed here. The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch. Nice space for a couple. Bathroom and shower were nice. We had a lovely time! Connected trails right to the Airbnb but we didn’t get a chance to explore. The host was very easy to communicate with overall!

This place was amazing! We woke up each morning to all sorts of birds and butterflies just out the floor to ceiling windows! It was very private and felt secluded and safe. It was easy to walk to local restaurants and stores. Adrian perfectly arranged 2 days of activities for us that went nearly seamlessly. We had one issue with a third party transportation company and Adrián was very responsive and even planned to pick us up himself if transportation failed to arrive the next day. The bed was comfortable and accommodations were in near perfect condition. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay while in Monteverde.

This little cabin is a paradise getaway, nestled on the edge of the jungle. Sitting on the front porch, watching the hummingbirds, flittering around so gracefully and hearing all the birds whistling in the trees. We saw an Agouti, and a Coati. There is a beautiful free hiking trail backing the property where we saw wildlife, beautiful Blue Morpho butterflies, birds and leaf cutter ants and amazing majestic trees. You can walk downtown to Santa Elena in 15 minutes. It is also 5 minute walking distance to a number of good restaurants and a grocery store. The cabin is small but very functional with 2 bathrooms a shower room, kitchen/dining area and a bedroom, and a nice front porch. The host are amazing and the welcome basket was a nice touch. We highly recommend this little gem!

Super happy with this location! The place was beautiful and had everything we needed to accommodate our young kids including a pack and play crib, high chair, and some toys. Jarvey was super accommodating and met us with fresh bread and was able to last minute get us massages at the house. Saw toucans outside, as well. Awesome stay!

Maikol’s place was amazing! Extremely clean, amazing views, beautiful nature sounds, and cozy furniture. Highly recommend!

Incredible place to stay near Monteverde. The pictures don’t do it justice - this was such a beautiful location and view. A quiet, safe, relaxing spot to watch wildlife off the back deck, or see distant lightning storms as you fall asleep in the comfortable bed. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is truly the most stunning place I have ever stayed in. I was initially hesitant to spend so much on accommodation, but it was totally worth it and the location, facilities and view absolutely justify the cost. I strongly recommend this place if you want a truly unique and private experience. Host communication was brilliant from the beginning and Licni was helpful and even arranged a taxi for us. The property was very clean, had good air conditioning, good bug screens, the hot tub worked perfectly, and the cargo net was a unique experience. We had the monkeys both mornings on the roof, and toucans, peccaries etc. visit the property throughout. This was truly a great place to stay for our honeymoon, and I would absolutely visit again.

We had a great stay. The place was beautiful with great views but Evelyn is what makes the stay special. She recommended a night hike that was the highlight of our time in Monteverde. She also allowed for a late check out on our last day that allowed us to see the Monteverde cloud forest. Would definitely stay again.

We have a great time at Andy and Mary’s place. Andy and Mary are excellent in communication. They always respond fast and flexible. The place is very unique. Although it is not new but it’s spotless clean and beautiful. The bathroom is large and nice. There is also a small kitchen. Although we didn’t actually do any cooking. It is a very well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and bird watching. We saw many varieties of birds. It has a great location. It is less than 10 minutes drive to town where you can find grocery stores and restaurants. It is also very close to nature reserves, about 20 minutes drive. There are also many natural theme parks nearby. We wished we can stay longer. Highly recommended!
