It takes me a great surprise, the place is incredible, visit the place with my wife, the place is super clean, there is everything, it is a safe place, from the location we were easily able to move to many places including restaurants, shops etc., the super friendly staff, safe parking lot, I would definitely go back and it became our place when we visit San José, I recommend it for the rate and everything else mentioned above.

We find a beautiful place where we share a weekend accompanied by dogs and nature, a cozy place to go as a group or as a couple, very spacious in the kitchen equipped to prepare what we like... Even though we are small to explore, the company of the dogs and the beautiful vegetation make the stay in a climate very pleasant although it is cold, the house retains the heat very well... We loved the place

A house with a pleasant atmosphere. The room is spacious. I slept very well there. And the garden is a dream. Keto was very generous. I was allowed to make a salad in the afternoon before my departure and eat it in the garden, even though I had actually left the room at 11 AM. Thanks!

Very kind and responsive host — always happy to offer help or answer questions. The house felt extremely secure, and I loved working remotely from the peaceful outdoor patio. The cooler temperatures at this elevation made for perfect nights. While some streets are hilly, the area felt very safe and walkable. There’s a bus stop right outside and plenty of food options within a 15-minute Uber. Overall, a great stay and a host who truly went above and beyond.

It is a wonderful place next to a River. I really enjoyed my stay. Marianela was a great host. She even went shopping with me on my first day because I had no car. The property is located off any Traffic noise… but since it is quite close to the airport you hear the airplanes starting around 4:30 am. The hot tub only gets to 35 degrees C and takes a while to get warm . But it was still nice to relax in the horrible. I would come back!

This is the second time I’ve stayed here on a layover in San Jose, and it’s the perfect spot for a quick sleep. Emmanuel organised everything really well and Luis and his wife made me feel very welcome with fruits and a transfer to and from the airport. Will stay again!

Had a fantastic stay. The place was impeccable, super comfortable, and had everything I needed. Hilda Maria was a gem. She was so nice, helpful, and even helped me pick some mangoes from her tree! They were delicious. Her space is lovely, and I really loved all the greenery and plants that she diligently takes care of. Everything was walkable and the kitchen especially had everything I needed to cook all my meals. Can't say enough good things. I would for sure stay here again.

Breathtaking views and location! Perfect for a holiday escape!

Karen’s place is like a little oasis in the foothills overlooking the city. It’s bright, airy, clean, and comfortable, and she has provided everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the cheerful, funky decor made us feel like we were staying in a super swanky boutique hotel…..but better! Located in a great neighborhood with amazing restaurants and a nice little grocery store within a 3-4 min drive. Karen made getting there and accessing the gated property a breeze with informative videos. We will stay here every time we are in San Jose!

This Airbnb is truly my favorite. Hernando has become one of my most reliable resources when staying in Costa Rica. This was my third time staying at his place! Always an incredible value for the space you get, and his willingness to pick you up or drop you off to the airport. He’s very kind, and always makes sure there are snacks and water for you. The bathroom is always fully stocked with all the essentials and the shower is amazing. Keep in mind you’re close to the airport so of course you’ll hear the planes, but he’s always kind enough to provide ear plugs! Kitchen has everything you need to cook with as well. I love the outdoor chairs to sit, look at Poas Volcano and listen to the birds. This is the best place to stay in the San Jose area. Truly top notch experience every single time!

Ketho was the best host I could have imagine for my three months stay in San José! :) Since he lives in the house too he‘s always there to help and answer your questions with his funny and dry humour I loved a lot. And in the sometimes a bit loud city of San José, the garden is the perfect calm place to come down and read a bit. I woke up with birds chirping and the sound of water - thus, absolutely recommendable if you have to stay in the city. And on top of that, the location is quite nice - whether you plan some trips from San Jose, a lot of tour providers offer a pick up at a hotel nearby, you‘re at the airport in 30min, whether you wanna go for a walk/run, you‘ll have the La Sabana park around the corner, or whether you just want to stay in a safe area of San José. So thanks Ketho and the team for making my stay in San José so great :)

This lovely, luxurious home is the perfect place to get away. It is beautiful, private, and in a great location. With the casita set behind the main house, the setting is peaceful and safe. The home is very enjoyable and well laid out. Ample porches to enjoy the garden. Would book again.
