A beautiful room overlooking the garden in a colonial house, a colonial house

One of the oldest and most beautiful colonial homes in Costa Rica. It consists of 350 meters of construction, large windows surrounded by gardens, wooden ceilings, and exquisite decoration. Very comfortable living areas, connected with spectacular garden. The street is quiet and safe, 600 meters from Escazú Centro: restaurants, cafes, shops, banks, medical centers and supermarkets. Private Room Close to The Bus Stations in SURA B&B

We were traveling from Bahia Drake to Cahuita and needed a place to stay for the night in San Jose and this did the job. The room was only $26 with tax for the night. We had a private room with a double bed and shared the bathrooms, kitchen and common areas. We arrived around 7:30pm and the woman working the front desk was very helpful. She checked us in quickly, spoke wonderful english, showed us around and then offered to order pizza for us from a nearby shop, which was perfect because we were starving. We ordered their version of a supreme and it was only $8, came in about 20 minutes and she delivered it to our room. It was actually really great, especially for the price. The room was pretty standard with just a bed, chair, and small nightstand. This is a hostel even though you can get private rooms so if you're placed near the common area, don't expect an early nights sleep with the noise. It was exactly what we needed and we would definitely stay there again.
