Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monterosso al Mare

I stayed with my girlfriend and a friend of mine at Marianna's. She was super hospitable and very helpful with our requests. The house lacked nothing, very clean and tidy upon our arrival. In addition, Marianna was able to point us to many restaurants and activities to do in Monterosso. I would love to return to Monterosso as a guest of Marianna.

Wow, Sabrina’s place is fantastic. We fell in love with Fezzano. Sabrina was amazing couldn’t do enough to help and so lovely with all her recommendations. We had spent over two weeks travelling round Italy, this was the perfect end to our trip. Fezzano is so peaceful and the restaurants couldn’t be closer just fifty steps from the front door. Perfect location to visit Cinque Terre. We hope to visit again.

The host was extremely responsive and helpful. She went way above and beyond with our inquiries. We have yet to encounter a more thoughtful host. The view from the balcony was surreal. Having breakfast sent to our room with the view was definitely one of the most memorial moments of our entire 2-week trip!

Gianni’s place is absolutely wonderful—exactly as described, and then some. The view is truly breathtaking and a joy to wake up to every day. Gianni and Antonelli are fantastic hosts: warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful with local tips and anything we needed. Although the house is in Caste, it’s a perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre. Just a quick 10-minute drive to La Spezia, where you can easily park and hop on a train to any of the five towns. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all the beauty of the region!

Absolutely stunning bijou property. Breathtaking views (almost feel you are in the sea) - you are so close to it. The terrace garden was perfect for watching the sun go down. There is an abundance of shrubbery around the edges with the beautiful scent of jasmine everywhere. The property was spotlessly clean equipped with everything we needed. Exceptionally welcoming and friendly host(s). Cristine and her husband were so proactive in assisting with getting to the property from the car park. Overall 11 out of 10.

Giulia's apartment is simply outstanding! It's location at the top of the town in Manarola provides spectacular views of both the sea and vineyards. The apartment has obviously been recently renovated. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are very comfortable with all the modern amenities. The new windows can be fully opened which allowed a lovely breeze into the apartment. I would definitely recommend Giulia's apartment to anyone wishing to explore Cinque Terre. Giulia was great host was was very responsive to the queries I had in advance of arriving. When we return to Cinque Terre we will definitely book this apartment.

We had a lovely stay at this gite which is in a great location with excellent views. The fully self-contained house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Easy parking just at the end of the private road and dog friemdly. We had a warm welcome from Anna, Lorenzo and Mambo and they all made sure we were well looked after. Many thanks!

Our family of four (two adults, two teenagers) stayed at Pietro’s place for three nights and had a lovely time. The location is excellent, perhaps the best in all of Cinque Terre. Easy train access, close to the beach and restaurants. The WiFi (for the teenagers) was good, and we enjoyed having morning coffee and evening wine in the lovely courtyard. Washer and dryer were a plus. AC in each bedroom meant we could be as warm or cold as we each wanted. We had no issues with our stay and would choose this place again!

My husband and I visited Cinque Terre during our honeymoon and stayed at Leonardo’s place. Watching the sunsets from the patio truly made our trip. Leonardo was very helpful with his directions and we were sooo happy we choose his place to stay. We had a lot of luggage and there were some stairs from the train station to his place. We managed fine but he also gave us a name and number for a luggage service. I would suggest using the luggage service if you are not in the best shape.

The terrace was beautiful. He was very friendly and gave us recommendations. The location was amazing. Definitely recommend!

We LOVED our stay here! Set right in the marina, you can view the sea and people watch all day long from the balcony, which even has a covering if it’s raining or too sunny. Hope to be back one day!

If this place is available , STOP looking ! It’s breathtaking ! The whole apartment is gorgeous but the view from both the small terrace and the huge one is heaven . Unobstructed views all around . Literally 360 degree view of paradise . Everything was perfect . Thank you so much Anna

Elisabetta was extremely helpful and attentive to messages. The location of this place is perfect for Monterosso. This Airbnb has everything you need including a washing machine. Your just off the main road so it's a little quieter but literally a 2 minute walk to the action. Great place, great host! Couldn't have asked for more, we can't wait to go back!

Chiara was an amazing host, very communicative, responsive, helpful, and friendly. She met us between her place and where we arrived at the train station as with the narrow streets, it could have been difficult to find. Everything was as described, very clean, and beautiful. We often ran into her cat honey as we came and went and it was a highlight of our trip. Easy 5 stars and we will definitely return to this place again when we come back to Riomaggiore!

There are truly no words that can do this apartment justice. From the moment we climbed the steep hill and discovered this magical place, we were captivated. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The apartment itself was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we could possibly need. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks below, and waking up to that incredible view, was unforgettable. Our host was responsive and helpful, and the detailed directions made everything easy to find—thank you so much.

Stefano was an incredible host! The location is ideal - walking distance to the train station in Riomaggiore for exploration of the other Cinque Terre towns, the Via dell’Amore, as well as to the marina. His communication is perfect - open with recommendations for restaurants and activities and quick responses to questions. He truly wants to make sure you have an incredible time exploring this special region of Italy. So many thoughtful touches - no need to worry about breakfast, as he’s got eggs and focaccia stocked! Nor chargers if you forgot yours, as there’s every one available. There’s laundry for after your hikes, and wine or limoncello to toast to la dolce vita. The apartment is very spacious, terrace expansive with gorgeous views, and Wifi fast. We appreciated him meeting us in person to go through everything. It was that extra touch that made the difference. If we’re ever fortunate enough to return, we’ll always come here first. Would highly recommend to others!

We absolutely loved staying here. Lorenzo is a fantastic host and actually met us to drive us up to the condo. He has great little touches like water and snacks ready for you, a Notion page with recommendations, very clear instructions, and converters in all the outlets already. It’s a hike up to the condo, but the views make it so worth it! He was super responsive and kind. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area!

Highly recommend Francesca's home. She's a fantastic host! This was an outstanding location - the views were amazing! Easy access to town, the train, the water, and hiking. Her home is up the hill from the train, so be prepared for some walking. Francesca was incredibly proactive before and during our trip. She met us to introduce us to the house and provided recommendations for dining and outings that were incredibly helpful. She also coordinated parking for us during our stay. The home had plenty of space for our family of 5. It's a perfect home base for Cinque Terre and I hope to be back someday soon!

What a fantastic place. Paolo met us at the train station to help us with our luggage and guide us to the apartment. Gave us great recommendations on how to spend our 3 days. Honestly I’m not sure I can imagine a better place in Riomaggiore. The flat is on the top floor with a great terrace that is shaded in the evening looking right down on the cove with a beautiful view of the water. We had happy hour up there every night. Everything was clean and modern. Having 2 levels created a lot of space in the apartment. Would stay there again in a heartbeat if coming back to Riomaggiore.

Loved our stay. The apartment is very convenient, but just past the very busy stretch, so it’s peaceful in the evening and morning. It’s very spacious, with a well-appointed kitchen. The aircon worked great, and was a blessing after the warm days. The beds were comfortable, and there is plenty of closet space. The only thing that could have made it even better is a clothes dryer, which I know is not common here, so we used the clothes lines. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, and a bakery literally within steps of the front door. I would highly recommend staying here - you can’t beat the convenience of this apartment and charm of the old town.

Loved staying in the heart of Monterosso - great restaurants steps away, view to the sea from the balcony. Cristiana was very responsive to any and all questions.

We stayed one night recently and wow, what a location, the most beautiful view. yes, lots of stairs but we only had backpacks and we needed something to help burn off all the focaccia! room was very clean, basic but all we needed for one night and a great price for the location. We had no problem finding the room due to very comprehensive instructions from the host. an extra towel per person would have been really helpful but didn't impact our stay. would recommend
