Castelmezzano is a hidden gem and perfect in April before the crowds and heat come, although it would have been interesting to try the zip line which doesn’t start till May-June. It is a very hilly town with lots of steps, but incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring, and we enjoyed hikes including to Pietrapertosa. Luigi’s apartment is fantastic, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Maria provided us clear instructions how to get there and where we could park. We are getting used to different opening hours in Italy than what we are used to in Australia, and had fantastic food. Luigi and Maria are great hosts, responsive, provided local recommendations and were very helpful. Highly recommend their home.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön, etwas oberhalb des Meeres. Man kann auf der überdachten Terrasse den Blick aufs Meer genießen. Es ist ruhig, man hört das Meeresrauschen und das freundliche Rascheln von Vögeln und hübschen Salamandern. Die Natur rundherum ist schön, im gepflegten Garten kann man sich gut aufhalten, es gibt Kräuter und einen Zitronenbaum. Ganz nahe kann man auf einem kleinen Weg oberhalb des Meeres an der steilen Küste durch die wohlduftende Natur spazieren. Im Garten konnten wir eine Tischtennisplatte benutzen, sehr zur Freude unseres Sohnes. Ein Highlight unseres Aufenthaltes war der freundliche Empfang von Raffaele, auf italienisch, mit Händen und Füßen, mit echter Herzlichkeit. Bei Problemen war er sofort hilfreich zur Stelle und dennoch auf freundliche Diskretion bedacht. Für vier Personen war großzügig Platz und alles vorhanden was wir brauchten. Wir durften alles nutzen was vorrätig war, das war wirklich sehr nett! Der Aufenthalt war richtig toll!!!

La casa di Emilia è a soli 4 km dal mare di Marina di Camerota, immersa in un oliveto secolare della fascia collinare cilentana, lungo la strada che porta al borgo di Lentiscosa. L'appartamento, con patio e giardino, al pianterreno di una villa di famiglia, è ampio e piacevolmente arredato ed è corredato di tutti i confort. Lo spazio esterno di pertinenza dell'appartamento è un oasi di pace e tranquillità che anche Il nostro cagnetto Paco ha apprezzato molto, per la possibilità di essere libero. L'ospitalità della Sig.ra Emilia, premurosa ma discreta, ci ha consentito di trascorrere 15 giorni di mare incantevole e di piacevole relax.

Wir können die Unterkunft allen empfehlen die Ruhe und einen unglaublichen Blick auf das Meer suchen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Ho soggiornato la prima settimana di settembre e mi sono trovato molto bene. la terrazza ha una splendida vista mare dove ammirare dei bellissimi tramonti. Davide é stato molto gentile, ci ha accolti di persona e ci ha dato dei consigli su alcune attivitá da effettuare nei dintorni e per i luoghi principali da visitare. Consiglio di soggiornare in questo piccolo appartamento se si vuole fare una vacanza di puro relax.

Ende März ist das ein Ort für Menschen, die absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit lieben. Die Terrasse hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick über die Bucht und beim Einschlafen hört man das Rauschen des Meeres. Die Unterkunft war klein, zweckmäßig und sehr gepflegt. In Bezug auf Platzangebot sowie Sitz- und Schlafgelegenheiten stellen wir uns die Wohnung bei längerem Aufenthalt für drei Personen als zu klein vor.

A perfect home away from home. Marzio is an excellent host. His place ticks every boxes. Peaceful, rustic with charm, super clean, well decorated, over the top equipped, extremely comfortable. The cherry on top of the cake is the fabulous housekeeper Maria, always present, yet very discreet, a real addition that makes you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. We have been travelling quite a bit and never been in a better B&B, especially for the quality of the service we received. It’s so true, that when you travel in southern Italy, every family welcomes you like you are part of theirs. You won’t regret staying here. Thank you Marzio, Antonietta and Maria, we’ll come back for sure.

beautiful place, in the middle of the Italian country side! super quiet and peaceful, and comfortable stay. if you like to cook Italian food, you will find a super market (Euro 2000) which have the most amazing selection of everything an Italian cook need. the host is wonderful, very responsive and nice! highly recommend!

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana piacevolissima all'insegna del relax, e la loro casa è un piccolo angolo di paradiso per chi cerca pace e tranquillità. Siamo già in procinto di riorganizzare un'altro week end presso di loro.

Loved the roof terrace and amazing views towards both green hills and roofs and silhuette of the historical town. Abbiamo trascorso una Pasqua meravigliosa complice anche il bel tempo, la casa è perfetta per dieci persone, giardino curatissimo e pulito barbecue esterno nuovo con un comodissimo lavandino, le camere sono ampie e spaziose e i tre bagni hanno fatto in modo che nessuno mai ha avuto difficoltà di sorta. All'esterno il grande tavolo con le sedie ma anche il tavolino con le poltroncine ci hanno regalato indimenticabili momenti di relax. A pochi km da Palinuro e da supermercati fornitissimi. Host estremamente reattivo per qualsiasi esigenza. Per qualsiasi richiesta hanno risposto subito senza crearci la minima difficoltà. Adatto ai cani perché il giardino è completamente recintato. Insomma noi abbiamo trovato veramente il nostro angolo di paradiso.
