This place was beautiful!.. the terrace had such beautiful sights of the Morro. The place itself was clean and tidy. We went with a big group and Silvia was able to accommodate the rest of my family at her hotel down the block from the apartment we originally rented out. Our first night there she offered to deliver food from her restaurant to where we were at which was convenient since we had just came up from La Capital on a 4.5 hour drive and we’re exhausted. The kids enjoyed they’re stay and of course the pool in the terrace. Silica was very responsive and always available if needed which I loved. Overall it was a safe, clean, and accommodating experience. I will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Montecristi.

Beautiful apartment with an unbeatable view! Just like the photos, clean and with everything we could possibly need. Mr. Adam Miguel was very attentive to any questions, concerns, or suggestions. My family had a great time and we'd love to go back.

A nice little apartment, easy to find because it's the only apartment building in the area. The apartment is small, but perfect for a small group. The only downside is that the neighbors next to the apartment have wild animals, and they can be noisy at night, making it hard to sleep, but that's not the host's fault. Aside from that, we had a nice stay. We were the only ones in the building, the pool is nice, and the location is great—most things are just 10 minutes away by car. They even offered early check-in, which was a nice touch. For the price, I would definitely recommend it."

This host was always attentive to my needs and was with me and my extremely hospitable family, I'm already planning to return with my family but for more days. Playa Buen Hombre goes all the way on foot and its water is nice and clean. We loved this place. Excellent air conditioning in every bedroom and super spacious place for the whole family. 100% recommended.

I had a great stay, the hosts as well as "Cubano" are extremely kind and proactive, the accommodation was perfect in a quiet area and matches the photos, Cubano picked me up at the bus station and every day he brought me fruit from the garden: mangoes, tamarind, cashew fruits... they put me in touch with Carlos who organizes sea excursions (7 hermanos, mangrove, natural pool), it was a very nice experience, the plus: is the small pool which is perfect for relaxing in the evening after a day of excursions. the day I come back, it will be at Santiago and his charming wife's.

The stay was overall positive. Upon arrival, we noticed a damp smell in the rooms, although it was quite reduced when turning on the AC. Outside of that detail, the place was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The best thing was the attention of the host, Adam, who was very kind and was always attentive to any eventuality. His willingness made the experience much more enjoyable. They just need to take that moisture issue into account… after… everything was perfect.

Villa Mare was the PERFECT spot to host a women's retreat. The house and team that are there from morning to night were dreamy. The sleepy beach town of Punta Rucia was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Henry was super communicative and helped me plan a few things to do with the ladies outside the house. He also referred a massage therapist who came to the villa for facials and massages with the sound of the ocean in the background. I've always picked a new spot for my retreats, but I can see myself returning to Villa Mare (and hopefully Villa Arena next door) time and time again. Thank you to Henry, Octavio, Nelly, Marjorie, Lala, Tika, and Crazy for the most incredible experience we could have asked for.
