We loved our stay at this stunning villa. It is set on a hillside overlooking the village and with wonderful views across the valley to the pyrenees beyond (although the winds in September made it feel a bit colder than the actual temperature was). The accommodation was super spacious with 3 double bedrooms (1 with ensuite), a comfy open-plan lounge, separate dining area and kitchen area. Outside is an unheated swimming pool, terrace area and covered (pergola) seating area with outside dining as well as a large gravelled parking area. The town of Lagrasse is beautiful and typically french, with several restaurants and pavement cafes as well as some small gift shops and patisserie. It is approx 45 minutes drive from Carcassonne. The overall feel is of a relaxed and peaceful holiday destination and an ideal place for unwinding with friends over a bottle or two of wine. Thanks Graham & Jeanne, we loved it

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is in a good location close to the beach on foot. Parking is easy. The apartment is very well arranged and equipped, suitable for families. The beds are comfortable. The big plus is access to the pool, we were able to enjoy it while alone, the water was 30 degrees, it was perfect.

HACIENDA SHELSY

We had an excellent week in Sylvie and Didier's Hacienda. Although some finishes are not finished (plastered, tile) outside the villa, this does not affect the quality of the stay in any way. The interior of the villa is very clean and functional (kitchen, bathroom, toilet), all with white columns that give a real charm to the house. Finally, the summer terrace as well as the pisicine are superb and we enjoyed it! As for Sylvie and Didier, they are very friendly, natural and warm people.

The house is beautiful, very spacious. We were three couples and the fact of having two bathrooms was very handy. The beach is a three-minute walk away. The only thing I didn't like was that they pay 100€ more for the sheets and towels when this is always included and in the listing at no time I said it. That is, to the price it puts, you have to add 100€. The hostess is very friendly.

Very nice Airbnb, as advertised. Tastefully decorated, very well arranged and very clean. Very nice exterior with jacuzzi and facilities. Very responsive and friendly host. Ability to park the vehicle nearby and for free. We would recommend this place and we will gladly go back! 😃

A very charming place, a perfect host. Flawless apartment, very clean, everything we needed available, we didn't want for anything. The pool, the big + to cool off and rest in this beautiful garden. Paul gave us a great welcome. He was able to adapt to our requests and was very responsive and accurate in the expected responses. The space is spacious, bright and beautifully appointed. We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

The gite -- spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated -- was lovely and everything was at least as good as we had hoped for. The hosts are really friendly, helpful and ready with good advice about what to do locally. Before our arrival, they were quick to respond to queries. A really peaceful place.

A really enjoyable stay in this particularly warm house. The large covered terrace is really nice, we were able to spend our week outside even on rainy days! The swimming pool with its small beach is excellent, petanque court also, all away from any prying eyes It's a very quiet place and we were able to take many walks in the surrounding vineyards. I recommend it!
