Family-friendly vacation rentals in Montargis

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

We were 10 children and 8 adults.We had a great time,a beautiful house and spacious gardens. The pool was the perfect size for the children but had enough room for us all.We felt we had a legitimate French experience in a local village.Plenty to do in surrounding areas. Cecile was very responsive to my many queries in advance of our trip.

We had a great time at Sabrina and Serge's place. Everything was as described, and the listing in a residential area allowed us to have a great weekend with friends. The gite floor, with its many games and toys, is a children's paradise. Hosts are responsive and have plenty of activities. One regret, our schedule and our children, didn't allow us to enjoy the hot tub! Another time! Definitely recommend!

Very nice place, very nice terrace, only small worries ... he spanked very hot in the rooms, and the proximity to the owners and another rental house on the same place. But the host is very nice and the place is beautiful!

We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation. It is a small, charming, old house where there is something new to discover in every corner – playful, adventurous and at the same time very cozy. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Pleasant two-night stay Comfortable cottage accommodation in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses. A little short to enjoy all the activities on offer: Hammam sauna, mini golf, fishing, etc. We enjoyed the pool when we returned from visiting Château de Guedelon Want to come back for a stay bringing the whole family together Thank you to our hosts for their friendly and warm welcome

Lovely home. Perfect to escape the noise and fumes of the city. With that be conscious that you will need to travel a fair 15 minutes to do basic food shopping. If you are looking to explore local towns, be prepared to drive up to an hour. However if you are looking to wind down in one spot, it’s great! Great lawn for garden games, access to pool is safe for kids with an alarm, jacuzzi was awesome to fill in the cooler days and evenings. Also the tv and Pool table was a source of activities. We loved the stay here.

We had a great time in a beautiful and relaxing setting. The private ponds, the walks possible without heavy traffic, the exteriors of the cottage are great (barbecue, hammock, jacuzzi, space for children). Stéphane provided us with precise and clear explanations and was responsive. I think we'll be back as soon as possible. 😊

The house is very cozy and in a very good location due to immediate proximity to the forest. Hiking, bouldering and nature are minutes away. Communication with the hosts was very friendly, quick and straightforward. Glad to come back!

As a regular guest, I can only say that for me, this beautiful property and the support of Pascal and the Pailloux family are always the first choice when I come to this region.

We had a great weekend! The house was very well equipped and we didn't miss anything! The swing, trampoline and games room with foosball were very popular with the kids! A property that I would recommend!!

Very nice and very spacious accommodation which allows you to have several groups / activities. Amelie is responsive, communication is fluid.

Beautiful house and perfect for a large group trip. We loved staying here and there was plenty of space for a group of 14 adults on a climbing holiday. Great location, walking distance from the forest and the bakery!! Thank you, we hope to return

We had a very quiet family stay in this large house, mainly by the fire in the very pleasant living room. It's a bit like meeting in the country house of friends: don't expect a place exclusively for rent.

Patricia's place is perfect for two adults and our two children (and dog!). Patricia is lovely and was always available. We would certainly stay again!

A small house in a quiet and green area. Very good hosting by Estelle and her husband who gave us some great tips for discovering a beautiful and still authentic region. The rental is simple but nothing is missing and therefore it is excellent value for money.

We loved our stay at Gerard’s place. It was very peaceful and quiet. Gerard was a total superstar when we got lost and had a puncture at the same time. He came to rescue us in the village and then insisted on taking me to get the tyre repaired the next day on a French public holiday. He then helped to provide tools to change the wheel on the car. This was so helpful and way above expectations. I am sorry we took so much of Gerard’s time but he was so nice to us and we were able to have a great time at the old stable despite our car problems. I would recommend using the directions Gerard provides on the messages rather than the default directions on the Airbnb app (which was our mistake). We had a wonderful meal at the Auberge du Cerf restaurant about 5-10 minutes drive away.

We had a lovely stay at Severine's place. The room is small but contains exactly what we need and reflects the photos. It was very clean and tidy, which we think is extra important. We especially liked the patio and the garden where we could drink coffee and enjoy meals. Severine was very nice and easy to communicate with. The room was a perfect starting point for us to climb in Fontaineblau. It took us around 10 minutes to walk into Milly-la lined in the morning to buy croissant and baguettes. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice welcome from Dominique and Patrick in this haven of peace. Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Air-conditioned. Kids are welcome and it shows! The pool was very nice especially with the hot weather. Bcp of nearby points of interest such as Château de Guedelon. We'll be back for a second stay, for sure!

Karinne's cottage is a peaceful place in a green setting. The house is very well maintained and pleasant to stay in, full of charm. Karinne is a caring host. Perfect for a week in the countryside surrounded by friendly animals.

Our stay at Laure and Frédéric's place was great. The farmhouse is nice and the location was very quiet. Perfect for breathing in transit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with David who immediately welcomed us and informed us about the area and its history, and its heritage. The house has two very beautiful donkeys and small chickens, the surroundings are very nice for walks too. I recommend it!!

We rented Antoine's house to celebrate Christmas with my family (7 adults and 3 children). We had a pleasant stay, in a beautiful country house that was very well equipped and warm. Antoine is a charming host, available and extremely accommodating, and we will have a lot of fun coming back! :-) We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the beautiful volumes. I highly recommend this rental.
