Vacation rentals in Montague Township

Marlene's cabin was a great place for a weekend away with my girlfriend and our dog. Marlene was very friendly and responsive leading up to the stay and even more so once we were there! The location was great, just a 10 minute drive into town but we really just stayed and relaxed at the cabin because it was so peaceful and quiet. The yard was big and felt private, the cabin was well decorated with comfy couches chairs (and bed). The kitchen was small but stocked with everything you need. Plenty of outdoor seating for grilling and building a fire in the evening (plenty of firewood too!). The chicken coop in the yard was super cool, but don't worry the rooster isn't very loud and didn't bother me (and I'm an notoriously light sleeper). Marlene even left us fresh eggs every morning! Can't say enough nice things about this cabin and Marlene (and her really nice dogs). Definitely recommend this place.

WOW!! This is a very special place and the most spectacular home we have ever been to. We were mesmerized from the moment we walked through the door. The decor is gorgeous and so grand with tall ceilings and castle-like lighting (all on dimmers for mood lighting). The fireplaces, darling nook & crannies, and romantic plaid blanket wall add a coziness that can’t be beat. We loved the amazing view from the window seat and the special touches literally every where you look in this home. The host is extremely generous with items provided to her guests and really goes above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. The location is perfect and walkable to everything. We enjoyed Fetch Brewing and charcuterie from Semelbauer Farms. We loved the Colby Street Escape Rooms!! Other highlights were The Gnarly Heifer, Pekadill’s, Sawyer Brewing, Pub 111, Oh Brother’s, and North Grove. We loved the live music from Nina Sofia and Velvet Mushroom. We cannot wait to come back to Whitehall!

Peaceful, private with the ability to watch the water and boats, so not isolated. Very conducive to bringing your pet. All the windows were so wonderful when we had a rainy day. Everything appeared new and the beds were all comfortable. Kitchen was very clean and allowed us to cook two full meals. Laundry super convenient and appreciated providing soap. Management was very communicative, but we had no issues so not much needed! All the turtles were a special treat and visited us often in the morning as we sat on the deck. Just a fabulous place I would not hesitate to return to!

We had an amazing weekend! Steve was just about the nicest person I’ve ever met. Everything was clean and cozy and exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway with the dogs.

Even though we were just stopping through for a late night, early morning, Brian was a great host! The space was clean and comfortable, if I’m ever back in the area I’ll book with him!

Amazing spot. No frills squeaky clean everything works - set off by itself-- literally 4-5 min walk to beach- accommodating and responsive host.

This house was just as great as the pictures. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and taking in the lake views all day long. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Also the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. As we were traveling with 2 children under the age of 2, we enjoyed having the baby equipment available. The baby gates were very necessary with all the stairs. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

If you're looking for a great spot to land, right on the water, and near some great bites and excellent things to do...book NOW! Austin is an excellent host. This unique AirBnb is situated in the renovated living quarters of the innkeeper at the Weathervane Inn. It's off to the side and feels private, and you have your own private exterior entrance. There is a door that enters into the Inn (tucked away behind the inn front desk). This came in clutch when I forgot my toothpaste and was able to pop over to the Inn and ask for some. Guests here can also enjoy the complementary continental breakfast! The road in front of the Inn is fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so. The area is very walkable, and we took our dogs and family to both Montague and White Hall by foot. So fun! Lots of great little restaurants and spots (definitely drop into the Book Nook and Java shop). We drove to Silverlake on one of the days (30 minutes away). BEAUTIFUL state park and dunes.
