Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monsaraz

Thanks to Mr. Manuel and Mr. João for welcoming us to the Guadiana house, everything was perfect, from check-in to checkout. I have nothing negative to point out about their service. The house looked much bigger in person than in the photos :)

Awesome property and very nice host. Kudos to Anibal and Amélia for being super responsive and helpful. Very few issues with the house which were promptly resolved. A parking space would have helped improve the experience but not a blocker. Pity we couldnt enjoy the pool and the patio much due to the weather. Overall definitely recommend this place!

We really enjoyed it. The private pool is an excellent positive. Maria and Nuno were very nice and welcoming. It was a very good experience and we hope to go back! :)

We loved the stay, the space is great for large groups and with children. Both Catarina and Dona Gina were quite flexible to maximize the use of the space by the group. Very thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Ana Luisa’s. The house is super lovely with beautiful views. Flora was incredibly kind, always helpful, and responded so quickly to anything we needed. It’s a perfect place to unwind and escape the city - we didn’t want to leave!

Susana was very polite and showed us the accommodation, which was very clean and very cozy! The location is great . It was a very pleasant experience!

Danielle and I really enjoyed our stay in Carlos and Isabel guesthouse. A few things immediately come to mind when reviewing their guesthouse, like the cleanliness of the house and the beautiful decor. Clearly all of the amenities have been well thought out to make you feel at home and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use their swimming pool. One minor suggestion would be to add a streaming service with the TV. We found Carlos to be friendly and very attentive to our needs during our stay. The location is rural, but only a short 5 minute drive to the city of Évora. There are a couple of small villages within a few minutes drive. In fact Danielle and I enjoyed one of our favourite Portuguese meals in the village of Valverde.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

A wonderful location close to major historic destinations with both budget and upscale restaurants within an easy walk. Parking is off premise, as explained in advance, which might not thrill everyone. The apartment itself was nicely decorated and provided everything we needed. Susana was a fantastic host, always checking in to ensure we had a great time. Check in/out was very easy & convenient to our schedule via the key lockbox.

Maria's apartment is really central , great location. Right in the historic center, you can do everything on foot. Functional and very pleasant space. We travel with children and the house adapts to families. Original decoration and interesting rehabilitation of an old commercial space. Maria super friendly with great tips, all the restaurants you indicated were great ! I highly recommend this place

Very nice house, clean, well located, and we didn't hear a thing at night. It's within walkable distance of the main attractions of the city (monuments and shopping). Garage easy to find with the instructions left. The host left us many recommendations, which brought us to dine at the "Taberna Sal Grosso" which was simply amazing.

Good location, parking less than 500 m. This unit, #1, was a corner unit so two sides with windows. I recommend it. Well decorated, very clean, arrival kit much appreciated. Mini grocery store and small café just down the street and very friendly staff. Only small problem, the dishwasher door was broken. The owners were aware and they told us that the repair will be done soon. Very good location, in a small street. The windows don't cut the noise very well but no worries for us. Great experience!

Super good service from Cristian, good area and better apartment

My family and I had an amazing stay!! The Airbnb could not be better placed, right in the city center. Everything around accessible by foot!! Airbnb was well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed our stay :)

The apartment is quiet and equipped enough for a medium-long period. The presence of the washing machine is comfortable, important if you stay for more than a week.

Extremely friendly welcome and detailed information. Miguel was very helpful in arranging a trip to Elvas. Apartment nicely decorated, very clean, some touches such as coffee capsules, toothbrushes, etc. We felt very comfortable. Visit to Olivenza highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay in a beautiful studio

From the first moment there was very good communication with Sara. What he told me about the parking lot was fulfilled, depending on the time it was more or less easy. As for the kittens, they kept me company. In general, everything was correct. The stay in Badajoz was fixed for me as it was almost impossible to find any free hotel in the same city.

Ana is an excellent host, she answered us promptly. The apartment is wonderful, super well decorated and has everything any guest needs. Smell bedding, all impeccable. It was our best stay in Portugal. Amamos. It has exceeded our expectation.
