Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Monroe Lake

This was our third time staying at Marilyn’s Cottage. We keep coming back due to the peaceful surroundings and beautiful home. Very comfortable and accommodating. Loved all the little extras.

Loved staying over for new years, would definitely go again

Had a fun weekend here with friends. The location is close enough to gas stations and other places to quickly grab whatever you might need, but still feels remote. Lots of space on the property but unfortunately due to heavy rain we couldn't use it to its full potential. Would recommend if you're looking to enjoy nature while still being close to Bloomington (about 15 minutes from campus.)

This home was well appointed and meticulous. A delightful space for our family to enjoy each other and get things done. We could be together or retreat and be alone! Thanks for making our wedding weekend a home away from home!

I had a great relaxing birthday weekend. If peace and quiet is what you looking for this is the place for you. The trails were amazing. The house is amazing. Always something to do game room was a place I enjoyed after a fun day out and about the property. Will definitely be renting again.Thank you for making my birthday just what I needed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Nashville Treasure! There’s too many great things to list but some highlights were, sitting on the deck in the evenings stargazing and stoking the very cool firepit, listening/dancing to the large selection of records provided (very nostalgic), admiring the decor and perusing through all the mid century modern books, the very peaceful setting!! We felt at home right away and can’t wait to return !!

We loved Amy's place! It was gorgeous and we had so much fun listening to old records while playing head up in the evening! It was the perfect location for us to check out IU with our teens. My daughter also greatly enjoyed her watercolors and place to paint! We also greatly appreciated the fenced in yard so our dog had a bit of to roam and play! She also had some wonderful healthy snacks available when we arrived on the table which we greatly appreciated after driving all day! We would stay at this place or her other retreat if we're ever in the area again! Thank you so much for hosting us in your home!

Kara’s place was beautiful and spotless. Walkable to all of downtown Nashville. We had a peaceful and fun stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

The place was beautiful and very quiet we only spent one night there but it was well worth the trip only a few minutes from downtown Brown County..

Her studio was great. Well equipped and clean with a short drive into town. She was very accommodating and responsive and would absolutely recommend her beautiful property.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding at The Wilds. Very convenient for getting to the wedding venue and to and from downtown Bloomington. If I’m ever back in Bloomington with a large group I would definitely book Nancy’s place again.

The cabin made for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. The deck has beautiful views of sunrises over the lake. The home is updated nicely and very comfortable while still being very immersed in nature. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Very beautiful home! One of the most beautiful we ever stayed in Indiana. Interior and exterior of house were perfect. We travel a lot, almost every month and got spoiled with beautiful locations/houses/details. And this house deserved to be one of the best. We love the comfortable furniture, beds and even bed sheets. It was nice to see Christmas tree already set up during thanksgiving week! Kids and us loved it Thank you very much!

Spent a IU football weekend here while visiting our daughter on campus. Quaint cabin in the woods that met all our needs. Chris’s instructions were very thorough. Only about 14 minutes from campus too. Great hiking in Hoosier national forest that was minutes away. Would be a wonderful place to stay also if you were doing a lake weekend over the summer.

Angela's place was awesome. If you are visiting this area, it would be tough to find a better place to stay. Angela, was on top of check in/out guidance and made sure we were all set for stay. Great host and a great home.

What a weekend we had! First, this has been one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Perfect size for the two of us. Starr was super informative and provided very detailed, easy to follow information. Now, the things beyond her control: we had a strong thunderstorm move through which knocked out the power for just a little while. Since we were staying in winter, the heat was off for a bit. Once Starr was made aware she offered alternate heating solutions, although it sorted out due to power coming back on! But she was very concerned for us - which was nice. Then, it snowed & I thought we may get snowed in. But the roads were plowed timely. I took a walk down Tower Ridge Rd (been there many times), and it was beautiful with the snow. The cabin is lovely and comfy. No matter the season, you would find a great place to stay! Looking forward to returning! Easy close to town! The drive is beautiful getting there too! Thank you Starr for everything!

The cabin was cozy and nestled deep in the woods. It looks just like the pictures. It was only about 12-minutes from town where there are numerous shops and restaurants. The cabin was clean and furnished just right. It was delightful and we would certainly recommend it to our fellow travelers.

Kim and I have been coming to this cabin for years. It is our favorite AIRBNB, hands down. It is just remote enough that you feel like your deep in the woods but just 20 minutes to Bloomington. The cabin is rustic but complete with modern comforts. We generally live on the porch during our stay. Barb and Brian are just the best hosts. This will always be my favorite place to vacation in southern Indiana.

Love the views from this place! Came here for my 30th birthday party with some friends, we had a great time. Really not far from Nashville, Indiana or Hard Truth Distillery. The lake was so pretty to wake up to and the hot tub was a great bonus. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit and taking the canoe out on the lake. Only negative feedback would be that the party barn is awesome but the path to it is very dark and not well lit at night so make sure to have some flashlights or phones on you. Be careful with the windows as we noticed one of them did not have a lock after the wind picked up causing the window to fall when we had it opened for fresh air. Other then those things it is an amazing place to spend the weekend and would highly recommend!
