Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Monroe County

We had a wonderful stay at this charming yellow house while attending Marketing College at Mercer. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, the space was perfect for our group of four women in the tourism industry. There was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and included some thoughtful welcome touches. We also loved the cozy patio area with string lights and a fire pit—such a warm, inviting spot, even though we didn’t have a chance to use it this time. The home was spotless, spacious, and full of character. We made so many great memories here and look forward to staying again as we continue our program at Mercer.

We loved staying in this quaint Macon home. It was just what we needed. We visited Macon to meet up with family and spread the ashes of our beloved grandfather. It was very accommodating for our family. We were able to cook for the children and the beds were extremely comfortable especially after a 12 hour drive. Others in our family mentioned they would love to get this place themselves when traveling to Macon, I'm sure they will. And in the end to our surprise we found out my grandfather actually grew up in a house just 2 streets up from this Airbnb. 😊 We were staying in his very neighborhood the whole time. A lovely surprise. Thanks for the beautiful place, the easy parking and the stress free accommodations.

I had an amazing stay at the lake house. Thomas was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome basket and the well-stocked kitchen. The location was also perfect, with easy access to Georgia College for my son’s graduation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again on my next visit.

What a wonderful ‘secluded’ gem just minutes away from everything!!! This cottage has all the amenities, modern technology, but feels warm and cozy. The host was very responsive and helpful, and the grounds are kept immaculate. I can’t wait until my next trip in the area!

We spent a quiet rainy weekend here. To say it’s peaceful is not doing it justice. I sat on the back porch sheltered from the rain but able to see all types of wildlife. I have been thinking about sitting back there every day since then! Very Comfy house, it had all that we needed. Also, a very convenient location to drive downtown, and Uber was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Scott and Megan's place. It was beautiful, quiet, spacious, clean and comfy, and in a dynamite location (near downtown), and they were very responsive to our requests. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

A very nice place to stay. My wife , daughter and I visited Georgia for my nieces wedding and it was a great experience staying at this beautiful place. The place was very clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. We had a couple of needs and Amado was right on top of it in minutes. I would highly recommend this place. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy everything it has to offer.

So much history in the area. Amazing homes show casing the building that went on during that time. Very large, beautiful homes built to last. People took pride in their homes back then.

I stayed from July of 23, until March of 24 due to long term work assignment . Never had any problems. The stay was peaceful, quiet and very!!!! comfortable. Jeff and Miss Gloria always had nice things to say during our passing greetings. As far as places I have stayed during my life long construction assignments, Jeff and Miss Gloria’s place was the best. Absolutely hands down the best. Jeff and Miss Gloria Thank You for Your absolute wonderful hospitality. I would recommend Your place to stay to all that have short term or long term stay needs/business in the ATL/Hampton GA area.

This was an excellent place to stay! At first, it was a little tricky to find (but that was because of GPS lol). Overall, I find my way with the specific instructions provided by the host, David who was also very communicative and responsive! Appreciated the amenities, and just felt right at home! ^-^

I had a great stay for the weekend. The space was cozy, clean, and pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. Check-in was seamless, and the location was easy to find. The bed was comfortable, and having a fan in the bedroom was a nice touch. As mentioned in other reviews, you can hear footsteps from the main house above, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, especially given the great price. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable and would stay again.

Great property! We came here for a peaceful getaway, and it went beyond our expectations. Grilling steaks, relaxing by the campfire, soaking in the hot tub, taking serene walks around the property — the list goes on. Laura was an excellent host who thought of everything a guest could need during their stay. We're hoping this one-time getaway turns into a yearly tradition!

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Craig was responsive before check-in and let us know the tritoon was available, though we didn’t use it. Unfortunately, the paddle boat was missing, and the kayaks weren’t properly stored, making them unusable without cleaning. The Green Egg wasn’t set up, but we made do. The road is under construction and a bit tricky in bad weather. Still giving 5 stars—weather was rough anyway, and the home itself didn’t disappoint.

We had a nice weekend at Duane's place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house and amenities are just as described. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

We had a great time. Our local family visited us while we were there and enjoyed the farm as much as we did. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch, fishing, and enjoying family. The house and property is beautiful. I hope we can return soon.

It’s one of those places that you wish you could stay just one more night. Beautifully kept. Amazing vibe. Will definitely visit again.

This place is gorgeous! We chose it because it’s conveniently located between Senoia and Covington, both of the places we were visiting. Our only regret was that we didn’t book it for more days. It was a peaceful retreat after a day of touring around.
