Vacation rentals in Monroe County

We had a great stay. The house was exceptionally clean and was just as described. It was a quiet and a beautiful location. We enjoyed the area of High Falls State Park, also great hiking trails at High Falls and Indian Springs. Mark and Melissa are great hosts and provided really helpful information. If we are back in the area we would hope to stay again.

“The stay here at this place was fantastic. It has a remarkably beautiful view, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable in every aspect, and it was the perfect escape or getaway for us to get to. And the owners were so hospitable and communicative the entire time for us. And we were so fortunate enough to be around when they were doing an event with horses and cattle. They allowed us to come and eat, enjoy the show, showed us all the animals, and just kept us entertained and welcome the entire time. We felt overwhelmed with joy every time we did something and went somewhere. And this is the perfect location for a little perfect getaway with the most fantastic hosts you could ask for. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!”

We had a nice, relaxing stay. The place was decorated nicely, clean and very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was fun to watch the birds and goats and feed treats to their sweet kitty. We would definitely stay again.

This house is a great deal! The appliances were new and worked very well. The linens were luxurious. The kitchen was remarkably well supplied. I do a lot of baking and it was wonderful to have everything I needed. The hot water was terrific. The master bed was very comfortable. The layout of the house was pleasantly roomy. It's also quite solid, so floors didn't squeak. The shower in the second bathroom didn't work, but the one in the master bathroom was excellent and that was all we needed. WiFi was speedy. The house is on a busy road, but far enough back that the traffic wasn't an issue. It is conveniently located near grocery stores, the mall, Wesleyan College, and only 10 minutes to Amerson River Park, which made our old dog very happy! Finally, Annie and Stephen were terrific: very responsive and helpful in many ways.

Took my girlfriend for a birthday getaway and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend. It had the elements of outside camping and super glamorous inside. This is where you want to be if you love the idea of glamping! Russel was also super helpful and friendly! No complaints and no regrets!

Most enjoyable stay, more than sufficient room to spread out enjoy the wonderful home. Beautiful kitchen, well stocked and loved all the wonderful appliances, especially the ice maker, a first for me in an Airbnb rental. The time went by quickly and we very much enjoyed our stay.
