House vacation rentals in Monreale

We had a truly wonderful stay at Marco’s Villa. The house has excellent accommodation and is extremely well appointed. Situated within a few minutes drive of central Balestrate and all the amenities it has to offer (supermarket, butchery, pharmacy, restaurants), it is an ideal location with easy access to all the key tourist spots. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living element of the property, making use of the swimming pool, hot tub, bbq and pizza oven with al fresco dining and relaxing. Giuseppa was a superb host; very welcoming, charming and helpful. We can highly recommend Marco’s property.

Everything is wonderful. The outdoor area is even more beautiful than in the photos! And the hot tub was (surprisingly) even heated. Very clean and a very pleasant and easy communication. Anytime again!

The experience at Gianluca's villa was simply unforgettable. Immersed in an oasis of tranquility, the villa offers unparalleled tranquility, ideal for those who want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The pool, perfectly cared for, is the real heart of the house: spending the days on the bathtub with a splendid view of the sea has been restorative. The view is breathtaking, with the sea stretching over the horizon, offering incredible shows especially at sunset. At night, the starry sky was the icing on the cake. The lack of light pollution made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. In short, this villa is perfect for those looking for an elegant and relaxing retreat, where the sea, nature and peace meet in perfect balance. Can't wait to go back!

A stunning property, very much deserving of its 5-star reviews. We could not have felt more at home, with every amenity thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa is furnished to a high standard, is well locked after and spotlessly clean and the outside space..WOW! Erika, the property manager is lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful, going out of her way on a Sunday to fix a small issue with the internet which we were most grateful for. We would highly recommend this property. Due to the rural location, you will definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurant recommended to us which was a short walk away appears to have closed down, unclear if this is permanent or seasonal (we visited mid-September).

We had a wonderful time here and cannot wait to come back! The hosts are just the best and amazing. We would 100% recommend this villa!!! The pool, the garden, take it all in! The host also sent us recommendations as we wanted to check out locations that locals would recommend. The host even went step further in securing us a ride into town when we needed it as we could not secure a taxi at the last minute. This level of helpfulness is really thoughtful and we could not have appreciated it more!!!! Thank you so so much!!! We already miss the villa!

Great place and owners!

Super kind and nice people. We arrived with public transportation, and they were so kind to pick us up at the train station, and leave us there again on the day of departure. The pool area was super. We only shared it with one other apartment, so plenty of room for all. We are a family of 5, kids aged 7, 11 and 13, and with a nice fishing village, lots of restaurants and beaches within 30 minutes walk, it was an ideal stay for us.

Uncomplicated, lovable, caring, great hosts, we almost felt like part of the family - Gabriele, Ettore and Ettores mother, the good soul of the house, provided us several times with local delicacies and when the water was running out, a new 6-pack was already at the door, the same applies to the bedding - the host family is a well-established team that does everything in the background to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you!! The terrace is incredibly beautiful, I don't think there is anything comparable near Palermo, free parking right outside the door. The azure sea is right under the apartment, we were able to relax well and would like to come back, we found the hospitality in addition to this jewel of an apartment very special!

we found this house to well located for our needs parking in the street outside. We did have a little bit of difficulty find it as Google maps doesn't work well in the town, we got within a street away. Elisa the host was meeting us so could direct us to the street. It was comfortable and well equipped. We walked to local restaurant and supermarket. It is well located for day trips to Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Salemi, etc. We would recommend this house for your stay. Thanks Giuseppe and Elisa for great stay.

Very very nice and individually furnished tasteful apartment, very very charming terrace overlooking the fruit garden and over the whole bay, we got a bottle of red wine to welcome us and were allowed to use oranges, lemons from the garden that were really delicious!! In Santa Flavia, which is also within walking distance, there are small original grocery stores and everything you need. There is also a train connection to Palermo during the day. Filippo picked us up in the village and dropped us off at the property. Very friendly, many helpful tips about Palermo and surroundings, he also sent us further information via WA on our demand for a good term. -- Highly recommended accommodation! We felt very comfortable!

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We had a lovely stay at Marilena and Francesco's and we recommend it without a second thought. They were very discreet while remaining available if we needed them and flexible on our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very well equipped, you will find everything you need there. Walking distance to the beach in 10-15 min. We didn't know exactly where we were going, but we were very pleasantly surprised by Mondello which is close to Palermo and much quieter. Note that there are a few dogs in the area. Recommended!

We recommend highly Salvatore’s apartment for getaway vacation. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t walk to the local restaurants -Salvatore took us to large grocery store for supplies.We took taxi and Uber to get Palermo even though we had an auto. Salvatore greeted us ( waited for us because we got caught in a rain storm coming from the Valley of the Temples) He showed us the apartment and guided us on our plan to explore the area-This apartment is a great base to explore Palermo and the area this side of Sicily. We wished had more time in this area.Salvatore was a very respectable and responsive host.

STEFANO's place was so wonderful and the access to the private docks with lifeguards was amazing (and the Mediterranean water was divine). STEFANO was very helpful and kind and I highly recommend his place if you want to have a quiet and private retreat 10 mins from the airport and 20 minutes from Palermo.

The stay with Dario, was our last apartment in Sicily. The location is perfect to visit Palermo, Monreale and Mondello beach. The apartment is new and wonderfully large. There were two of us, but there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms so very suitable for four people. In addition to the apartment being beautiful, the most important thing to say is: the tremendous hospitality of Dario and his wife. Upon arrival, there were brioche ready for us, halfway through we got a nice wine from the region and at our farewell delicious sandwiches for breakfast….. and it's not even about what we got, it's much more about the kindness and the willingness to help, give tips and advice. Dario was WONDERFUL and felt familiar like we were friends. I can write much more beautiful and good, e.g. about how neat and clean and new it was... but I would say: experience it for yourself. Great apartment close to everything in Castellammare del Golfo

Perfect cleanliness, perfect location (close to Palermo airport, close to Palermo, shops, restaurants, train station, beach), instant communication with the owner who is always available

Our vacation with my family at the lovely lodge was great. Francesco was very nice and always helpful to solve the problem. The house is in a great location where there are many beautiful beaches nearby. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy everything you need. Very nice kitchen that is as comfortable as possible.

Carlo and Laura’s place is one of the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed. Apartment is well equipped with everything one needs at home and on the beach. One feels like at home, it’s very cosy. There is a beautiful view from their terrace. Apartment is located in a few meters from the sandy beach with crystal clear water. There are many bars and restaurants and groceries close by. And the city center is easily accessible by bus which stops close to the apartment. Communication with Carlo was easy and pleasant. Thank you Carlo and Laura for hosting us!

We were welcomed by Tiziana who, with great kindness and friendliness, showed us the apartment and gave us many very useful directions. The place was really clean, tidy and equipped with everything. We highly recommend this accommodation, which is in a non-central area, but strategic for visiting the local beauties.

The stay in Claudio and Giuliana's apartment was great. The house is in a quiet street, but close to the liveliness of Piazza Magione and almost everything is within walking distance. It has the luxury of a beautiful roof terrace, and an outdoor kitchen! There are two great bedrooms and the living room is small but nice. It is nice that there are several possibilities in the house: the living room is cool and dark for hot days, and the roof terrace is wonderful for when the sun is not too hot. In short: recommended!

We spent a week in Elena's spacious baglio. The location is ideal for discovering the west of Sicily. A slight noise from the traffic can be heard outside, inside it remains quiet. The property is a green idyll with lemon and olive trees, flower scent and many beautiful corners to linger. The house is spacious, open and cozy. The furnishings are simple but stylish. We would have liked a few shelves and a little more personal touch. We loved the loving welcome with pastries, lemons and flowers – and of course Pakito, the farm cat. Elena was always there for us. Warm, open, helpful. She regularly inquired about us and was always available. When we had a small accident with the rental car, their support was worth its weight in gold! We were well looked after. If you are looking for a quiet place with charm to experience Sicily at your own pace, this is the place to be. We would come back.
