We are near the historic town of Tavistock, national trust house Cotehele, and of course Dartmoor National park which can be seen from the Lodge. We are five minutes away, by car, from the village train station which takes you into the historic maritime town of Plymouth. The Eden project is 1.5 hours away, and the beaches 30 minutes away.

Micro Barn Conversion - Hot Tub - Dog Friendly

This adorable barn was converted by my dad and I, using as many upcycled materials as possible. Where we couldn't use recycled materials we sourced locally ( All the timber was processed 5 minutes away!) The Barn comes with its own enclosed south facing garden and personal vegetable patch you can harvest from! We are located 334m above sea level in the Tamar Valley and within walking distance to Kit Hill Country Park. The views from the barn are incredible especially at sun rise!

We had a great break at Harper's Cottage, Richard and Ute were great hoss.. We had a great welcome and quick tour, lots of good recommendations for where to eat out and about the area in general. All the small touches at the cottage add up to a great stay. Well equipped kitchen, lovely linens, dog beds, great shower, great hot tub, all of it was Fab. The cottage was very private, with amazing views from the garden and the conservatory. We hope to visit again next time we are in Cornwall.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage at Callington. The setting of the cottage was so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage itself was perfect for our family get together, everyone had enough space and we were all very comfortable. It had everything we needed and the place was beautifully clean. Tracey and Peter were on hand if we had needed anything and there were scones and clotted cream for our arrival which were delicious. The granddaughter loved the trampoline and the chickens! All in all a perfect get away, will definitely look to return , perhaps without the grandkids so we can enjoy some of the lovely walks nearby.

Fiona’s place is fantastic - so awesome to see how she’s built it and the story behind it. The beds are incredibly comfortable and it’s super peaceful. The kitchen has everything you could ever want and it really feels like a home. Loved our stay there and would love to come back.

Kate has a terrific cottage with everything you could want. Great kitchen, large table for group meals, comfy sofas in living room. It was great to have 3 full baths in a 3 bedroom place. Kate is warm and friendly and easy to deal with, and she is very interesting. As is her husband, with his many interests from bees to orchards and general conservation! It was a perfect spot for our long holiday weekend vacation in Cornwall.
