The house is great, the garden and pool are exceptional, the view is amazing. You are quiet and in a splendid natural setting to have a relaxing holiday and recharge your batteries. Obrigado Paulo and Susana for everything! We'll be happy to go back.

It was a good stay, nice hosts

Our stay was one week and we were able to enjoy a lot of calm, good landscapes and country trails 2 minutes from the house. Soledad sends you a lot of information about routes, towns and restaurants and is available 24/7. It never took more than a few minutes to answer any messages I sent during my stay. Our butane tank ran out and in 20 minutes we had it changed. The place is very well maintained and the facilities are of good quality. They even have the thoughtfulness to have things like salt and pepper, scented candles or Tupperware at your disposal. Everything you need to live with the essentials for a few days. Small tip for future customers: if you stay longer than 2 or 3 days I recommend leaving the shower towels to dry outside the bathroom, since it is a very humid room and they will get a little musty. Overall, it was a very quiet and relaxing stay, a nice change from city life.

My family and I had a lovely week with Denise and her daughter. The apartment was lovely bright and spacious, with 3 good rooms. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool and lemon tree. It was easy to drive out to the many beautiful cities and hikes.

We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful and secluded farmhouse, visiting friends in neighbouring Castelo Branco. Rogério was there to meet us after an 8 hour drive from Southern Spain with a welcoming drink and home made pastries and he spent 45 minutes explaining about the location and its history; he really is super friendly. The house truly is a home from home filled with his treasures, games and even a keyboard. As mentioned in other reviews the dog did bark constantly but Rogerio had already flagged this and offered to move him. we used the house only as a base however and he did not unduly bother us. It was a great stay and we made full use of the wood burning fire which kept the house cosy and warm however it did smoke a bit leaving everything we owned with a memorable dour of woodsmoke. It’s great value and our friends who live in the area visited one evening and fell in love with its rustic charm, they are going to book a couple of nights for themselves in the summer.

Our stay in Lentiscais was simply perfect, wonderful, and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Spacious house, well decorated with all amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed us to prepare delicious meals. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Clean and well maintained, the kids loved spending hours playing in the water, while we adults took the opportunity to relax on the surrounding deck chairs. The outdoor space is fantastic, our dogs also loved the space, running and exploring every corner of the garden. It's rare to find a place that's so pet-friendly, and it made all the difference to us. We highly recommend this house in Lentiscais for families looking for a perfect getaway.

Our stay at Mario's was perfect. The house was beautiful, the setting absolutely splendid and soothing. It is with regret that we left and with great pleasure that we will be back. A big thank you to Mario for your kindness.

Beautiful place, mountainous road to get there but it's worth it. Don't arrive at night if you don't know. Home away from everything but it's happiness when you're looking for tranquility. Pool without a robot or dip net, so gets dirty very quickly. It is also filled with natural mountain water, so if you want to swim you must be a fan of fresh water… The fridge is really small, when you occupy the accommodation at 6, it is really inconvenient.. knowing that the nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away by car and you will only find the bare necessities. Consider shopping beforehand, and anticipating your meals. particularly exceptional view and place Thanks to Sandra for the advice of the restaurant O Fontinha, which offers typical Portuguese cuisine, very hearty , with a top waitress
