Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mondello

Really loved our stay with an exceptional view!

We were a family of seven, grandparents, parents, three very active boys (ages 6-12). The owner and his wife were gracious hosts, greeting us with Easter time treats. The house and gardens are even more impressive than the description. Our beds were comfortable. The kitchens were well-equipped. We had a mishap and the host generously helped to solve it. You must have a car. The host can recommend excellent beaches and fun things to do We would love to return.

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't lack anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. Thank you, Gabriella, for this unforgettable, wonderful holiday! Grazie mille ♡♡♡

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a family of 4. We enjoyed the view and the swimming pool. Giuseppe was very helpful and made local recommendations. Especially the bakery, ice cream shop and restaurant nearby we were happy with (S.Nicola), but also a lovely trip to Cefalú - where the restaurant A Paranza made delicious pizzas. Giuseppe also recommended good restaurants in Palermo. We would definitely recommend the place to others and would love to come back.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

David is a very friendly, funny, and warm host who met us at the apartment to make sure our check in was smooth (and it was!). He totally made us feel right at home and welcome -- just a great person to talk to! The apartment was terrific -- the kitchen was well-equipped, and the space was roomy and spotless. The location was perfect as well -- close to the water and within walking distance to all the markets, and tons of stores and restaurants. Palermo is an awesome city, made even more special by Davide and his place. Thank you for a perfect stay, Davide!!!

Vincenzo's place has a good location just out of the centre of Palermo. It is clean, well furnished and has everything you will need for an extended stay. I was there for a month and found that I had everything that I needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the internet is fast and reliable. Although the apartment is small, the space is very well utilized. A great option for a comfortable stay in Palermo.

We had a great stay in Palermo. The apartment is very central and within easy walking distance of the main sights. Having a Lidl around the corner was very handy! Michelangelo was very helpful and friendly and gave us help about driving in and out of the ZTL which we would not otherwise have realised. The apartment was very clean, spacious and private. It was truly a privilege to stay at Lucia's custom built flat. It has the perfect blend of rich history and morden amenities. The view from the rooftop patio was out of this world and the flat was so close to all the major sites and yet completely isolated from street noise for a good rest. If you are lucky enough to find her listing available, you need to book it now! We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Lucia for a wonderful experience in Palermo!

Quiet place, located in a good spot, close to everything you need. Marina has been very friendly and responsive.

Giulia was a very kind host, always available for advice and for any request for clarification. The apartment is very nice and centrally located to visit Palermo. We were very satisfied and definitely recommend La Casa di Giulia to everyone for a relaxing stay in Palermo.

Nice place, wonderful location.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Giuseppe's apartment was great. Above all, the location: right in the heart of Ballarò, just a few blocks from a bustling old-school Sicilian market. Giuseppe was also extremely attentive. The apartment was newly renovated, clean, and stocked with water, cake, and coffee. We had a brief issue with the wifi that he personally came and sorted out immediately. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for an authentic Palermo experience.

We, two ladies , stayed there for 5 nights. We wanted to have two „equal bed rooms“ and this was fully matched ( and is not easy to be found in Airbnb‘s in Italy). We even had two bathrooms which was very convenient for us. We liked the location - right between Capo Market and Teatro Massimo. In a street with large trees. The flat has new windows, they close perfectly, we were not bothered through any traffic noise. The flat is very functional, bathrooms very ok, high water pressure, always hot water. We had some very cold days and really loved that the central heating worked!! Fully positive suprise for Palermo , where you hardly find a heating or one that can be put on in April. We also highly appreciated that Giulia made a sooner check in possible and a check out at 11:30. Eased our life with two trolleys enormously 😊 thanks once again! We loved this place! Myself and five friends stayed for two nights and it was great. Spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, which were great for our party. Prime location to the heart of Palermo as well. Definitely recommend!

Annalisa and Stefano welcomed us in a friendly manner, with clear instructions and additional tips for the city. Check-in was straightforward, and we also found a free parking space nearby. The apartment is clean and tastefully furnished, with everything you need. It was a little noisy during the day because the house was being renovated, but that's probably just temporary. We felt very comfortable!

Marco's place was just what we needed in Palermo! We absolutely LOVED the location - right in the center of the historic district. Marco's wife Clementina was so welcoming and helped us get settled and oriented. She had lots of great ideas of places to go and things to do. We loved our stay in Palermo and would recommend Marco's place to anyone.
