You are independent, in a fully equipped house overlooking the castle, the medieval village of Penne and the Aveyron River. In terms of activities, there is something for everyone: cultural visits (Toulouse, Albi classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), sports activities (canoeing, hiking and mountain biking, climbing, swimming, etc.), participation in local festivities, and simply relaxation!

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

For the lucky ones, on a clear day, you will have the chance to see the Pyrenees and at night you can fall asleep admiring the starry sky. La Chouette is a picturesque and private two-level village house nestled in the medieval center of Saint Antonin Noble Val. Hand-crafted wooden cabinetry and a curved staircase add warmth and charm. A walled garden with lower and upper terraces provide a spectacular view across the Aveyron river to wooded hills topped by the Roc d"Anglar. La Chouette is closed in January and February.
