Pucarrumilloc Lodge

SharonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved this place! The host was super nice and personable, which made the stay even better. The location is great—about a 12-minute walk to the main square where you'll find restaurants, shops, and unique pieces from local artists. The town itself is beautiful and full of charm. There are also some great hiking trails nearby—one we did led uphill to some ruins, was free to access, and took about two hours round-trip. Definitely worth the effort! Just a heads-up: bring your own toiletries and towels. We’d also suggest lowering the bathroom mirror a bit and adding a full-length mirror in the living area. One thing to note—many restaurants in the village use wood-burning fires, which can be a bit much if you're sensitive to smoke or have allergies. Bringing a mask might be a good idea. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!
A window with a wooden frame is partially opened, revealing a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and greenery. A potted succulent rests on the window ledge, complementing the serene natural landscape outside.

Traditional Adobe Home - Close to Sacred Pyramid

Marias cottage is in an amazing location - it's very peaceful and a 15minute walk to Ollantaytampo. It has basic cooking facilities with a great two burner stove. There's no fridge. There is oil, salt, sugar etc. The bedrooms are comfy and spacious with plenty of blankets and a little heater. The bathroom is clean and has hot water but water pressure is a little low. The living area is a beautiful space. Around the house there are some nice walks. All in all a very positive experience- Maria is a lovely host.
A welcoming common area features wooden seating arrangements, complemented by a potted plant on a wooden table. Colorful wall art depicting local culture adds vibrancy, while light filters through nearby windows, enhancing the open and inviting feel of the space.

Double Raymi

We recently stayed at Hostel Raymi hosted by Kelly. Staying here made our trip to Ollantaytambo truly memorable. Kelly was super attentive and willing to go above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Even helping us arrange local transport at a very fair price for our personalized itinerary. We had some issues with our train tickets to Machu Picchu and Kelly was even willing to call her friends to help us figure it out. She was always prompt in responding to messages, quick to offer assistance, and ensured that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. For the price, it is one of the cleanest, best hostels I have stayed at in Peru. I look forward to staying again at Hostel Raymi whenever I return to Ollantaytambo. Thank you, Kelly, for making our trip truly unforgettable!

Ollantaytambo, a magical land that enchants with its history and landscapes, becomes even more special when enjoyed in a place as cozy as this. 🌿✨ From the first moment, the warmth of the space and the hospitality of the host make you feel right at home. 🏡💖 The rooms are impeccable, with comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness that guarantees a good night's sleep. In addition, the place is spacious, perfect for relaxing and admiring the beautiful landscapes that surround it. What really makes this experience unique is the host, a person with an incredible heart, always ready to help at all times. From guiding you to arrive without a hitch, to giving you tips on where to buy fresh foods like bread or how to get around the city. Their attention and warmth really make a difference. Without a doubt, this Airbnb is a gem in Ollantaytambo, a place that I would recommend 100% for those looking for comfort and tranquility.

Great Host! I forgetfully left my flashlight at the room and Miguel the host sent it to a location with a taxi where I picked it up. Very kind and honest people, thank you.

Anita's House

I stayed one night before my trip to machu pichu and one night afterwards (I could leave my big bag there). I liked, that it was in a side part of the village. The family was super nice. Bring some time, then you can spend some time with them. I even had breakfast and lunch with them (:
