Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Our cozy Nordic-style house is perfect for up to 4 guests, it's sits right on the canal, offering breathtaking views of the water and pasture. Enjoy direct access to the water, complete with swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing opportunities. A jetty is also available for boat docking. With numerous bicycle routes in the area, take in the surrounding nature and beauty. Note: From 28th June to 30th August, bookings only on a weekly basis, with check-in and check-out only on Fridays.

Studio with unique view over the IJsselmeer

In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, as long as you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bicycles in the garden that comes with the guest house.

Old biscuit factory. Myrthe

There is an old biscuit factory in the picturesque village of Molkwerum on the Frisian IJsselmeer coast. Until 2015, the " Molkwarder Koeke" was baked here , it nog is baked in Joure. We bought the building in 2015 with the idea of making appartement in it, this finally happened in 2023. First we starten with 1 ( appartement Myrthe) and in 2025 the 2nd was adder ( appartement Sterre) The old bakery is in a quiet placemat in the middle of the village on the village canal.

Probably the best IJsselmeer view in Friesland!

Unique views from your apartment and terraces. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at walking distance. Free Wifi. In high season arrival and departure is only possible on Fridays (exception: June 28th). In low season it's also possible to book periods of minimum 3 days.

Villa Felderhof - Holiday cottage on the water

Directly on open boating and fishing waters. The old port and the beach are very close. The cottage is an old storage room from the former lock to the Zuiderzee. That's why it has a unique character and feels like you're staying on the water. Suitable for a (real)couple possibly with two children. There is one bedroom and a loft where 2 young people can sleep. At the front there is a sunny garden and the back is a jetty on the water where 2 canoes are ready. ☀️

Cozy loft with rural views!

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian Landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can go hiking, cycling and sailing.
