A wonderful stay and so lovely to be this close to the beach. Definitely worth travelling into Porto as limited things to do near the stay. Nevertheless, Paula was such a brilliant host! ♥️

We have been five days, four couples, and we all left delighted, both with the house and with Rosa and Pepe, who are two wonderful people. The house far exceeds the photos you see, the views are spectacular, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. We'd love to come back as soon as I can. Very happy with the accommodation and Rui's service. The house is very cozy and has a garden and pool. We celebrated a birthday with a group of people and everyone was very comfortable and delighted. Rui lives next door, so it's very easy to communicate with him if you need anything. A recommendation, bring mosquito repellent. In the late afternoon a good number of them appear and attack, which is a pleasure. Otherwise, everything was great.

We had an amazing stay! The location is beautiful & so peaceful. Close enough to Porto, while providing a nice escape from the busy city. Francisca was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, even extending herself to a few surprises that made our stay extra special. I will miss having breakfast outside with the beautiful view of the valley neighborhood. Hope to have an opportunity to visit again. Would recommend to anyone visiting Portugal!

At the beginning of June 2025, we spent a week in the cozy tiny house of Clarisse & Manuel. The garden is beautiful, as well as the surroundings with village, fields, sea coast and forest. Praia de Paco is a very nice natural beach. Our hosts were very friendly & pleasant. The orange cake is a dream! Muito obrigado😀! We are on vacation without a car. The few connections of the local train were enough for us. Arrival and departure by taxi from Viana do Castrlo worked perfectly. Beatrice and Luzi

Very nice apartment, quiet, with a nice view of the wild coast. Opposite there is a supermarket, which is very convenient. We had a one-day delay on our arrival due to a transport issue and Mariana adapted, thank you again. We'll be happy to come back to this apartment if we go back to Ancora.

Staying at Luis's was a pleasure, the apartment was comfortable and clean. Comfortable bedding, with utmost comfort. The location was well located for visiting the city of Braga on foot. Luis was always available to answer any questions we may have. I can only recommend Luis to other hosts. Looking forward to coming back to Braga. See you soon Florence

Our stay in this wonderful apartment was simply fantastic! The breathtaking view of the sea has made it special every day. Maria and Carlo were exceptionally warm hosts – they not only welcomed us warmly, but also showed us the surroundings and provided us with many valuable recommendations. Good clean apartment and friendly host

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

Great flat with beautiful view on the hills and ocean. 5 minute walk from the center and 10 from the beach. I warmly recommend this place.

We had a great time, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very nice and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real sense of privacy. Access to the pool is very nice when it's hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for hosting us and see you soon!

Jose's place was very spacious and clean. Kitchen was very well equipped. Place was very clean and everything worked fine.

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time The apartment matched the pictures and great views from the balcony. The communication with Laura is good and was quick to respond. It is a nice small village with a good train connection to several villages. In the village of Caminha, you can take a water taxi over the river Mino to Spain. Restaurants, supermarket are within walking distance. At the beginning of September there was a village party with a fair at the door for 3 days. Very cozy, you could see parades from the balcony in no time. I would recommend the apartment and the place Vila Praia de Ancora to anyone.
