Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Mohawk Valley

This is my 2nd stay at Vicki’s. I love the Victorian home she grew up in. It like stepping back in time and the surround area, farmlands, and towns are lovely to explore. Easy access from major road yet feels off the beaten path. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back.

Deborah offers a clean and comfortable accommodation next to an amazing lake. Be sure to bring a boat to explore and watch the sunset. I know I will be back to enjoy the area and spend more time hiking.

As the other reviews have mentioned, John is a beyond excellent host!!! And very responsive! He is also very knowledgeable and helpful regarding shops and restaurants in Troy. Nigel and Margaret (John’s greyhounds) are also very good companions at this Inn! The decor in the rooms and in the shared rooms and hallways is just beautiful and very interesting! And he serves delicious homemade breakfast! With alfresco dining as an option in the warmer weather.

When we arrived, Chris was there to greet us to give us a quick tour and the keys to our room. He also gave us great tips on some new places to check out since we've last visited Oneonta. The room was comfortable and the common area is very warm and welcoming, all as expected. I highly recommend taking advantage of the breakfast that is offered, they do a wonderful job! My wife and I chose the stuffed french toast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We plan on staying here for future reunions.

I had an incredible experience at the Rosemont Inn. The building and decor were absolutely beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. I have a bad back and usually have difficulty with this! My quality of sleep was amazing!!! Rita and her staff were so kind and hospitable. The breakfasts were amazing!!! Can't wait to return!!! Highly recommend!

Sharon’s place is in a picturesque setting with incredible mountain views. Great communication and warm hospitality. Cozy and comfy bedroom with everything you need. Location was the perfect home base to explore Cooperstown and surrounding areas. Her breakfast was a treat and we would definitely stay again !

I had a last minute change in my itinerary that Kelly was very understanding about. I will stay here if I'm ever in the area.

This is our second stay here - both times while we were visiting nearby family. Just as before, it was great- convenient to downtown, very welcoming, great breakfast!

I loved my stay at Renee's home. Renee and her sister were very friendly and welcoming. The upstairs room was so comfortable with ceiling fan and AC, and a private half bath. I slept well. The continental breakfast the next morning was delightful! The coffee was excellent, and there was a choice of breads, yogurt, and fresh fruit. I wish I could have stayed longer, so I will definitely return on another trip. It is very peaceful and quiet.

This place is spectacular! Extremely clean and inviting with lots of character. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. John was a wonderful host. The beautiful garden and patio area offer fabulous views of the serene valley.

Our experience of staying with Nancy was unmatched by any other airbnb experience. Nancy goes above and beyond in every way as a host. She is endlessly thoughtful and generous and her abilities as a chef are out of this world! She made us several impeccable breakfasts, sweet treats, and dinners. Additionally, the setting feels about as idyllic as it gets. What an incredibly peaceful oasis! I can’t recommend Owera Winds BnB enough! We would absolutely love to come back one day!

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

What an awesome place, and an awesome host! I had an eight-hour drive to make when I left. Priscilla volunteered to serve breakfast at 5:45 AM. Great breakfast. Great host. I even got to relax reading a book in front of the fireplace. It wasn't lit, but still so cool. She offered to make a fire and I declined. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Travis Lee

Staying with Nancy and Shaun was an absolute delight. Their place is beautiful, tucked away in nature, and felt like the perfect escape. The house is made with so much love ❤️. They’re such cordial and welcoming hosts -we had some of the best conversations, and it truly felt like staying with someone we knew for long! Nancy is an incredible chef (she’s even written a cookbook!) and every meal she prepared was made with so much finesse and care - easily the best food I’ve had on any trip. She makes the best best granola. ❤️ The trails are within her property, the peaceful setting, and the cozy private stay. I can’t stop thinking about how amazing it would be if Nancy launched her own Airbnb Experiences - a cooking session with her, a photo shoot in her stunning green lawns, or a quiet retreat in the writers’ cabin. I’d sign up in a heartbeat. Nancy and Shaun - thank you so much for such a beautiful stay. Your home is truly special, but it’s the two of you that made it unforgettable.

The Catalpa House was the sweetest bed & breakfast you could find in the area. Ellen was so kind, cooked us up an immaculate breakfast and gave wonderful recommendations for the short amount of time we had in the area. The room was super comfortable and she was extremely accommodating to anything we need throughout our stay. The town is a very sleepy town with not much to do, but beautiful surroundings. There were trails and a waterfall hike just up the road that kept us occupied and that we enjoyed the morning after our stay. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Was a perfect location for walking right into town and they have water access on the motel property. Would definitely go back
