Vacation rentals with beach access in Mohawk Valley

Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lynne and John, for your gracious hospitality!

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

We had a great weekend at Alexandra’s place. She was super communicative and helpful. The place is beautiful and comfortable with a lot of extra touches. It was a great spot for cross country skiing at Lapland Lake Center. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was a in a good location to be in to get around to the surrounding areas like Saratoga and Lake George. It was exactly as described and had no complaints. We had 7 guests and were able to fit comfortably. The host was responsive and ready to help if need be.

It was our second stay at Shelby’s. And everything was great. Look forward to staying here again.

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this spacious and cozy Airbnb! Everything was in perfect condition, and the hosts truly thought of every detail to make our experience comfortable and enjoyable. The house was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed — from a relaxing hot tub and kayaks to a beautiful deck and a sun room. Staying at Brandon and Corey's place was like the definition of the best AirBnB can be. The house is cozy and beautiful, and we found it totally decorated for the Christmas season and perfect for our party of 6. It's the level of thoughtfulness that made our stay special. 'Emergency' amenities laid out in the bedroom just in case; a kitchen that is very well equipped, well-designed and highly functional; coffee supplies laid out and ready for the morning; a binder of local recommendations, etc. etc. Brandon's communications were also fantastic. He reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed and set a very relaxed and welcoming tone. It is no mystery why he and Corey are super hosts! Thank you, Brandon and Corey, for setting the bar for what other properties/owners can be!!

Thanks Matt for hosting us. The Airbnb was located in a beautiful location with the lake just directly opposite. It was also a comfortably short drive to Saratoga. Matt’s place was clean and beautiful and exactly as described. Matt was also extremely communicative throughout our stay. Thanks again!

The place was fantastic and we had a great trip to Lake George. Grazia was incredibly accommodating of us having to cut our trip a day short and willing to refund us for a night when we had an unexpected family funeral to attend. We can’t thank Grazia enough for her hospitality and her flexibility and kindness during a difficult time. We hope to get back up to Lake George next year to enjoy her place and all LG has to offer!

The camp was just right for our group. We had a great time watching the lake (too cold to swim in mid-May - but we were tempted!), gathering around the fire pit at night, walking the area and drinking in the whole experience. The camp was well stocked with everything we needed. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

WOW!!! JUST WOW!!! Wonderful host with an amazing house! We felt right at home. The surrounding area is so peaceful and was easy to navigate and get to restaurants and stores. HIGHLY recommend!!

Beautiful home in a lovely setting. Truly a home away from home!

We had 8 family members up for our son's graduation from Syracuse University and Amy's place was perfect for us. Plenty of space, clean and neat, VERY comfortable beds, all linens and towels included. Came in on a cold, rainy Friday afternoon and were very appreciative of her gas fireplace that quickly warmed the condo. Also liked that there were individual heat settings for each bedroom for everyone's individual tastes. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Highly recommend!

Great location. I was in town to attend my granddaughter’s Christening. Took in the casino as well. Enjoyable stay.

Very peaceful and scenic getaway. Guests should be aware that recent wind damage rendered the tennis and pickleball courts out of service. Also, canoes and kayaks are not available after 10/1.

it was a great cozy place to stay. though there was a storm and the area had a water outage, the support folks got back to me immediately and were ready to provide alternative accommodation if necessary. but luckily the water supply was back on time, and I was kept in the loop throughout.

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting Syracuse U. Fantastic location in downtown and within easy reach of the university. Restaurants and more just steps away yet the condo was very peaceful with a neighborhood vibe and the nearby park was perfect for our pup. Would definitely stay here again.

Had an awesome stay here. The place was super clean, really cozy, and exactly what I needed. The host was great—quick to respond and super helpful the whole time. You can tell they put effort into making it a comfortable spot. Would definitely stay again!
