Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Modum Municipality

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We loved this little house in the middle of Oslo. It was comfy for our family. After a few Airbnb stays on this trip without blackout curtains, it was great to be able to sleep through the night. Their coffee maker was also a treat.

All great location for me and really easy to deal with.

The place was well decorated, modern and warm throughout. The rooms were separate, ideal for our stay and the private deck was a bonus also considering we had great weather during our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of neat design features to suit the space. We felt safe and secure during our stay, and our hosts were great at responding to any questions we had. The accommodation is right in the heart of town and it was easy to reach Batterioya, Blindeskjaere, the shops, and the Ferry. All within easy walking distance. The bus stop was 2 mins away and it was easy to travel into Drammen and forward to Oslo centre. We felt as if the accommodation had recently been made ready for guests and there were a couple of possible improvements that could be added to help guests enjoy their stay. A microwave would have been a helpful addition and the small toilet needed a privacy blind on the small window. Overall we loved staying there and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

The apartment was modern and stylish, and at the same time cozy with a view of the garden in peaceful surroundings. It was clean and nice, and good furniture and bed. It was extra nice that the host had put out chocolate.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful garden, conveniently located. The best part for us was the very friendly dog and cat :)

Beautiful location with great views!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. A fantastic view of the Tyrifjord and a great terrace to feel good. The company of the dogs touched us very much. They are so sweet and are looking forward to a few petting sessions

Great, very clean and beautifully furnished accommodation. Public transportation is about 6 minutes' walking distance. We had a lovely few days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

Very nicely located apartment/ house. With a beautiful view of the wooded mountains. Large, cozy and equipped with everything. Camilla is a very friendly and helpful woman. 5 min walk to the metro that runs to the center of Oslo.

We love Ole and his wife's place! After I was there once in October last year, I really wanted to come back this year, this time together with my partner. We felt very comfortable at the place again! It is extremely stylishly furnished, very clean and very well equipped. We also like the location very much - you have a wonderful view of a lot of nature and at the same time you can get to the city quite quickly. Ole and his wife are also very friendly hosts! Thank you for the amazing stay! Ingunn was proactive in communication and gave us advice, suggestions, and, most importantly, very clear instructions w/ pictures on how to check-in. Upon check-in, the home was very clean and matched the pictures very closely so we knew exactly what to expect. The home was very spacious for our family of 4 and the washing machine/dryer was a lifesaver after a week of travelling. Having a kitchen was also great because of the multiple grocery stores nearby (which Ingunn pointed out in her welcome book) to save a little money since dining in Oslo can be expensive! Speaking of location, great location! At the end of a private, residential street so a nice getaway from tourists at the end of the day, but very close to multiple tram lines and just a short ride into the central areas. Everything from the convenient AppleTV to the kitchen to the comfortable thermostat settings made us feel right at home! Thank you for hosting us!

The balcony is exceptional — a wonderful place to relax and watch the many activities of Tjuvholmen. And the location is great — two short blocks from a food store and vinmonopolet, many cafes and restaurants, the whole harbor to explore. Carina was a warm and welcoming host. Many thanks!

Peter and Elizabeth are lovely people. They are both very friendly and helpful. They respond really quickly if you have a question. The apartment is close to two sets of shops, in easy walking distance to both. The 42 bus goes direct to the center of Oslo. There is also a train from Roa. Both are about 5 mins walk from apartment. It’s in a lovely and very quiet district. Had a very enjoyable stay here.

Fantastic apartment and fantastic views. Simple and fast communication, very flexible since I needed to extend the stay by one day. Clean everywhere, lovely bed linen and a luxury bathroom! A really good experience! Thanks to the host.

The apartment was has described and the host very friendly. That area of the city is quiet and has a lot of interesting things to do where you can go by foot.

The place is gorgeous and I particularly appreciate that it is a non-driving area so we were not woken up by trucks in the morning. It’s probably the best location in Oslo and features a wonderful terrace. We appreciated that there were umbrellas for us to use. When I asked a question, I got an immediate response. There were 5 of us and the place accommodated us well and was a good value for that number of people.
