The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. Small log cabin at Holleia in Krødsherad municipality. The cabin is completely secluded, 20 minutes drive on a forest road from the main road. Road all the way up to the cabin. Simple standard without electricity and running water/drain. The cabin is completely secluded, with beautiful nature around Two bedrooms with bunk beds, where one bedroom has 120 cm and 90 cm beds and the other has 75 cm upper and lower bunk beds Wood-burning stove for heating, refrigerator (gas) and two hobs (gas) Please note that there is little or no telephone coverage at the cabin!

In winter, we recommend bringing your own duvet or sleeping bag as there are only summer duvets in the cabin! If you pay for a fishing license at the gate you have access to fishing in all waters! Possibility of kilo fishing in the surrounding forest lakes. Holleia offers fantastic trips for those who want to go short and long. Skiing opportunities right outside the cabin when there is enough snow! You are very welcome!

Forget worries, enjoy long glorious days in this lovely cottage by beautiful Tyrifjorden. Here you can vacation both rural and central at the same time. Oslo is 40 min away, the fjord is on the property, golf course 5 min away and not to mention Krokskogen with beautiful ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin has recently been renovated and is a great place to come back to after active days out. No running water! Drinking water is provided in cans (arranged by the host), water for washing is in the spring on the porch. Combustion toilet.

Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived painter Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

Log Cabin with exceptional views 30 mins from Oslo

The Cabin is at the top of the hill so you will experience amazing views and extraordinary sunsets. View over Tyrifjorden. It has steep edges around the hut so small children will need to be supervised. The Cabin was built in the 1940's. The livingroom boasts enormous windows so the view is equally breathtaking both indoors and outdoors. 4x4 is recommended but you can also walk up the steep road roughly 15/20 minutes.
