Loved our stay here! The place is amazing and once up the stairs, opens to a spectacular room and view. Can either watch the liveliness of Stonetown, or relax.

This apartment is superb. It is huge, clean, and comfortable. Lovely internal design and excellent furniture. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms were very large as well. If you want space, you got space, and I loveee space. You can tell the very first owner must have been well-to-do. As I said to Fay, I'd love to take this apartment home with me. The location is very central, literally 150 meters from the Ferry terminal. if you have light bags, you do not need a taxi to take you there. For some people, the location may be concerned too busy. Fort other, they may enjoy being in the heart of the action. For me the location was great - pretty much in Stone Town with the Slave Market and water taxis to Prison Island a short distance away. Fay was the quintessential communicator. She ensure we were taken care of. If I were back in Zanzibar, this is exactly where I would stay.

Check-in: Other than Salum, I spoke with two more people (the manager and the caretaker). However, this was no bother at all. Every person was introduced at the time they were needed. Neighborhood: I was nervous at first as it looked like we will have too many interactions with the neighbors. I was so wrong. The neighbors were chatty and very helpful pointing us in the right directions, etc. We even tried the deep fried cassava from a vendor on the same street. Nice lady and delicious food! Overall: Everything went well. Exactly what we wanted travelling as a family. Finally: I already recommended the listing to some relatives that will be travelling to Zanzibar next month.
