This amazing 150+ square meter apartment is situated in the heart of the Stone Town in Zanzibar. On the third floor of the first British Consulate in East Africa., it is a walk through history. Livingstone, Burton, Speak, Kirk, Grant and Nishal have lived here at some time in history. Its veranda has wonderful views of the sea, beach and Forodhani Gardens. The sunsets from it are amazing. Its minutes away from the best restaurants, bars, ATM machine, post office and taxi stands.

The house is located approx. 8 km south of Stone Town Zanzibar in Chukwani directly at the beach. There are two terraces in the garden, one swimming pool and you have direct access to the beach. The house itself has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, one living room and dining room as well as a large balcony. Furthermore, there is a large fully- equipped kitchen and a garage. We had a great stay at BT cottages. The staff were helpful whenever we needed something. Urah was so great and always available. The kitchen wasn’t fully stocked but Urah delivered whatever we requested for. I loved the fact that the place was peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. I’ll definitely recommend and come back. Thank you.

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel and just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big but the host is easy to reach via message , phone call and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

This place is beautiful, if not even more impressive in person. Large space for a family or group of friends. The villa was spotless clean and host even offered cleaning services throughout our stay to make us feel more comfortable. We ordered the breakfast and dinner on some of the days which was very useful since the villa is a little distant from restaurants and supermarkets. The back pool looking out into the sea was our favourite part of the house as it made the stay very relaxing. The host Urah was available at all hours to answer any questions or issues that we had which was useful when we had blackouts. The security guards were very friendly and made us feel very safe. We would definitely stay here again when we need a breather from the busyness of the beautiful island.
