We had a great stay at Sherri’s place - the house is walking distance into the town and the house was in perfect condition and tidy. Sherri was kind enough to allow us an earlier check in and was very responsive to any texts we sent her during our stay. The house and surrounding area is beautiful, would stay here again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Miranda sehr genossen! Die Unterkunft liegt in wunderschöner Lage – ruhig und naturnah, ideal zum Abschalten. Miranda hat uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung gegeben, was unseren Aufenthalt noch bereichert hat. Ihre liebevollen Tiere haben besonders unsere Herzen erobert und für eine warme, familiäre Atmosphäre gesorgt. Der Kontakt war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Unsere Zeit, die wir bei Maggie & Paddy verbringen durften war von Anfang an sehr sehr schön und angenehm. Freundliche Kommunikation direkt ab der Buchung und wir bekamen vorab schon ganz viele hilfreiche und interessante Tips. Als wir ankamen wurden wir persönlich begrüßt. Maggie hat für uns ein Brot gebacken und uns ein paar Dinge für ein leckeres Frühstück für unsere Zeit im Cottage bereit gestellt. Das fanden wir sehr aufmerksam und super lieb. Als es am nächsten Tag stark regnete und kalt wurde fragte sie, ob sie unseren Kamin für uns anmachen soll damit es bei unserer Rpckkehr warm im Cottage ist. Auch das haben wir sehr positiv, sehr aufmerksam und vorallem sehr freundlich empfunden. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können absolut empfehlen, hier zu buchen und die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit in dieser wundervollen Gegend zu genießen! Wir würden wieder buchen und würden gerne wieder zurück kommen.

Beautiful House Above Barleycove Beach

We had a wonderfull time in Illian's house. The house was very cosy, very well equiped with an amazing view. We occupied all the beds and there was still a perfect amount of space for all all of us to feel confortable. It is also a very good location to exolore this part of West Cork, Mizen head (windy and impressive in winter !), Dunlough Castle, the very nice villages of Goleen and Schull, Crookhaven and all the beaches around starting by Barleycove of course ! We have spent an epic winter week, walking around all day, and coming back to a very nice wood fire at night. I would definetly recommand the experience ! The communication with Illian was very easy and he's always been very reactive and helfull !

The house was superb - way bigger and nicer than we expected. Spotlessly clean on arrival and lovely modern space with two living areas so great for children and adults or families sharing loads of space. A real piece of luxury in a fab location short drive to beach and walk to town with fab coffee and treats and local for a drink. we loved our stay! would definately stay again!

A black wood-burning stove is set into a rustic stone fireplace, with glowing embers visible and flickering flames adding warmth. The surrounding stones are varied in color and texture, enhancing the cottage's cozy atmosphere.

Had a beautiful stay in crookhaven. Easy to find the house and check in was super easy with all information from Jason. Everything we needed was available to us in the house. The village is right on your doorstep and a great base for exploring west cork. Will definitely be back.
