Amazing house and location!! By far the best place we stayed in Japan and in all our Airbnb stays in general. We loved the house, the beautiful garden, the bath and everything there. We could have stayed for many more days. The family were so sweet and very very helpful. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Nice central location. Easy to find, no issue with parking a Nissan Serena in the parking lot. Place is old, a bit dirty, but overall cozy. Bathroom shower water is a bit weak too.

7人で1日だけの滞在でしたが、アメニティ含め宿泊施設が充実しているのに対して、価格がものすごくリーズナブルだと思いました。もう一度訪れたいです。

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!

This is a fabulous luxury stay. The space has been outfitted with the highest attention to detail. The experience is marvellous - Victoria can take you on a tour of the temple and give a bit of her husband’s family history. It was a little tricky to find initially (buy putting the temple in as the destination put us on the right track) and Victoria was in constant communication. It is within very close proximity to the Takachiho Gorge and a wealth of natural beauty. If you just want to chill the area is rural and very peaceful. We had the first night to ourselves and then shared with a very respectful group from Taiwan. Can thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in guesthouse yururi while driving from Miyazaki to Kagoshima. The guest house looked to be recently renovated. It was very spacious and comfortable. It was very well equipped and impeccably clean. We checked in around 18:30. The proprietor couple welcomed us. After renting grilling equipment we went for a quick grocery run. After coming back around 19:30 we found the seats, table and the charcoal grill were all set up! We had a wonderful time grilling and enjoying a very memorable outdoor meal. The kitchen had everything one needs to cook meals. The washing machine was easy to use. We loved the automated bathtub. It was a very nice touch. The thoughtful organization and attention to detail were evident everywhere we looked. The playroom with swings was a whimsical touch, making this guesthouse ideal for larger family gatherings. We had a good night of rest, despite some minor road noise from trucks, as the house is located on a main thoroughfare.

We stayed two nights and it was such a great experience, the kids cried when we left because they wanted to stay. Kiyoko’s and Keijiro’s place has a sauna, a cafe, a bakery and the cosiest traditional house which we stayed in. The food was terrific. We had a huge breakfast, cooked Japanese pizza for lunch with the kids, and made sushi from scratch with Ikeda, a friend of the house who brought all the food and helped us prepare. We felt so welcome. Recommend to anyone who wants to experience true Japanese hospitality.
