The facility was animal friendly, and I was happy that I was able to stay with two dogs.It was also a nice exterior and interior.There were many rooms, and we stayed with four families and 6 people, but everything was air-conditioned and the bed was beautiful.There was also a BBQ facility, and I was grateful for the charcoal service and help with the fire.Also, the owner was very personable and very kind, and the check-in time was flexible, which was helpful.It was an unforgettable summer memory, so we would like to stay again!

It was a very clean and comfortable stay with a bed that was easy to sleep in! It was also fully stocked with cooking utensils for cooking, and I mostly cooked on Airbnb! There is a valley nearby, and it feels good to take a walk, and there is a spot where the Japanese primroses come back beautifully from the veranda, and I was impressed!

Thank you so much for using it.This time, 5 men used it, and we enjoyed dinner in the large barbecue space.In addition, the owner was full of kindness, such as lending me a camping chair and putting sheets on the futon in advance.We really had a very fulfilling time in the area.It was a very good accommodation.

This place is perfect of families and friends looking to stay in Aoshima. There are lots of activities provided by the host, though you need to inform them first. We especially enjoy the ping-pong table! All necessities were provided and we felt right at home. Highly recommended this place!

Wonderful. Although it was a self check-in, our hosts were on site, doing some gardening. They showed us around and they left us with fresh vegetables from the garden, fresh eggs and some delicious shiitake mushrooms, also grown there. It was nice to meet them. The traditional house is well kept and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. It is very bright and nicer than the photos indicate.

Amazing house and location!! By far the best place we stayed in Japan and in all our Airbnb stays in general. We loved the house, the beautiful garden, the bath and everything there. We could have stayed for many more days. The family were so sweet and very very helpful. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Peaceful and refreshing stay at Jonathan's for our small family! The cabin has a lot of charm and is well equipped for a few days. Our kids loved the chickens and sleeping on futons 😉 Jonathan is very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!!!

A lovely host who was so kind and helpful, and made us delicious breakfast at a great price, catering to our dietary needs. We wished we’d have stayed longer! The photos on the site don’t do it justice, the house is beautiful and in a lovely location. 10/10 would recommend, particularly for groups!

I had a great stay here while road tripping across Japan! I was able to book it late and the host was very responsive! I especially appreciated the hospitality cabin that guests had access too with complementary supplies. The host also was quick to respond and refill the mosquito repellent in my room when it ran out! I went to Minamicho, Miyazaki Nichinan-shi, and I had a good impression from the stay. The interior of the house is a Showa layout, But all appliances and appliances are modern, In the kitchen, air conditioner, fridge, TV, etc., Convenient for travelers to feel at home, There was actually a small foot wound before check in, but the owner had some small first aid material in the house, Made me not bothered by injury, Details of the equipment and how to use each house before check in by the owner, Communicated. The place is really cute, the futons are comfortable, even for us Europeans who are not used to them. 🤗 We met the host who is charming. it was cool so we put on the heating which works well. Only small remark, we had to do a washing machine and it is only possible to hang your laundry outside, except that it started to rain during our absence, all our clothes were wet... a clothes horse outside no worries, but under cover from the rain would be great 😅 and blackout curtains everywhere would be a real plus to have darkness in the morning. The airport is not far away, so you can hear the planes early in the morning, which is a shame. No activity next door so it's quiet, but you have to look to find restaurants. Thank you for the hospitality and accommodation!

This guest house was right next to the sea and was in a very nice location.At night, the starry sky spreads across the sky, and it was as beautiful as a dream.I had a very satisfying stay, spending a relaxing time with my family while enjoying BBQ.I was able to make great memories and I'm really grateful.Would love to visit again!

Thank you for your polite response. The bath was also spacious, and there were plenty of beds, so even 7 people could stay without any inconvenience.

Great spot! We loved the glamping accommodations. The pillows were the best I’ve seen in Japan and everything was comfortable. Host was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Great location for being able to do Kumamoto city and Aso national park. Would definitely stay here again!
